Bug with myHack 3.1.2 or a fault of mine?

Recommended Posts

I used myHack to create a "OSX 10.6 Install Disk" on a USB drive, following the guide here:

I set my BIOS settings as recommended in the guide (optimized defaults, then turned on ACHI and CPU C states). However, I get stuck on step 3. I boot from the USB drive and I observe OSX beginning to load, but then my computer automatically restarts after about a second. I tried using the "-v" flag to observe what was making it restart, but that is little help, as the text just flies by the screen and my computer restarts before I can read anything. =D I've also tried booting with the "-v -x" flag (a.k.a. safe mode), but after all the kexts were loaded, it did the exact same thing (automatically restarted).

myHack completes the creation of an OSX 10.6 Install Disk without any errors. I'm not sure where the application log is located but if you direct me I will gladly post it.

I'm not sure if this restarting problem is caused by a bug in myHack or some fault of mine. Conti, how do I make it so that the terminal output is written to a log of some kind so that I can let you know what the actual problem is? Also, let me know if you need any more information. Thanks in advance!
