markf
-Where you are from/where you live. California -How long you have used a hackint0sh (if this is your first time, state that you are new to this). Trying to get my first one "off the ground" -A brief summary of your experiences in hackint0shing (if any). None till now... but lots keeping old macs running. -What triggered your interest in hackint0sh. Mac Minis (2006-7) look like Dell 820s. It's all Intel hardware now! -Your general computer skill level. Hardware engineer. -List any technical experience you have in various operating systems and programming languages (if any). Shells, scripts and such. -If you have any talents/skills that you would like to offer to help the community (optional). Make it go! But the one thing about this web site I haven't figured out is: Where are you hiding the "search boxes"? I thought maybe if I registered they would magically appear! But No! From the FAQ: >How can I search a forum or forums? >Enter a search term in the search box located on the index, forum or topic pages. >Advanced search can be accessed by clicking the “Advance Search†link which is >available on all pages on the forum. >How to access the search may depend on the style used. Style used? I was going to ask my questions about 10.6 on a Dell D820- after I had searched- it's an old machine and OS- this has all been done before! Conti
The search boxes are at the top left of each individual forum - there is no global search box. These will appear after you have been promoted to a user account with posting privileges.
