Sterting to think I need to start from scratch with myhack

Gigabyte GA-H61N-USB3 itx(f8)

500 watt coolermaster PCU

4 gigs ram(plan to go 8 gigs when functioning)

EVGA GeForce 210 1024 MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 video card

Intel Core i3-2120 Dual-Core Processor 3.3 GHz processor.

Seagate Barracuda 7200 500 GB SATA 6.0 drive (3 partitions with 1 main experiment partition and 2 clone backups, immediate 10.6.3 install, most recent functioning 10.6.8)

Dual Layer DVD burner with light scribe

Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced - Mini-ITX Computer Case

 

Technical experience: Mid to expert level, not totally ignorant

Caple of installing os's, working with hardware, this is my first computer from scratch build and much easier and fun than I expected.

 

I got a story you've all probably heard before. I started with Tony Crap. Was asking too many questions and ended up getting banned. Started working on my own reconisance documenting as I went. Still foolishly using tonycrap tools for the most part.

I've gotten to a point where I kinda understand ktext but it feels like I hit a wall. Hoping you folks could be nice and help me out.

 

I got .DMG files working with a ktext from the 10.6.3 installer. However still can't read flash media. Audio still sounds like crackly farts, Still can't boot from HD, bios give some sort of disk error.

 

Anyhow there's my situation and am not sure if I should try and get the current stable run going right or just do it all over with myhack.

 

BTW,Yes I want 10.6.8 I don't want ML as I have many many many universal binary applications from my PPC macs on my network I wish to continue to use.
