Pretty new with hackintosh. I get to the clover boot option, when I choose my ssd och usb-stick I get a "stop-sign" symbol. Tried multiple times booting stick and ssd.

Shit, meant EC. Can't remember which version, .6 is what I am sure of. Won't boot into Verbose.

Successfully installed OSX EC on my computer and completed all the steps in the guide provided by Jake. Upon boot, clover loads but when choosing my OSX drive, or even the USB stick I installed EC with, won't boot. Dell E5550 BIOS A12 Intel i5-4310U Intel 4400 El Capitan 10.6.6

Thanks! The source of the problem was AHCI. Followed your guide on installing El Capitan, and the machine is finally up and running. One small problem though. When running the EFI mounter it doesn't allow me to mount the image. "Finder got an error: AppleEvent handler failed. (-10000)"

i5-4310U HD 4400 SSD Not sure about the chipset.

I have an E5550 with an Intel 530 240 GB ssd installed. When I get Clover to boot OSX Sierra, I can't find the SSD. I have managed to install Sierra on a 16 stick. But ´no luck finding the SSD using sierra. The disk is formatted to fat32.

If i might be so cheeky and borrow this thread with a question regarding the installation. When I have changed the DVM in the text file, where should i put it? In the BOOT or EFI folder i created on my usb stick?
