  1. I have succeeded in installing macOS Sierra on my E7450 and it is all working quite nicely, although I do have the odd issue with the keyboard layout which doesn't bother me too much. One thing that I would very much like to get working is encryption, which I hoped would work with my Samsung 840 EVO self encrypting drive. Unfortunately, while this works fine with both Windows and Linux, on macOS, if I set an ATA password for the drive, the system becomes unresponsive after sleeping. I guess it either does not put the drive in the correct mode when sleeping, or fails to initialise it in the correct way after sleep. Whilst I do not have the expertise to fix the problem myself, I am wondering if anyone has managed to get hardware encryption working, and if so which SSD are you using, and were any additional steps need to be taken to ensure it works correctly? Thanks in advance.
  2. It seems I was a bit hasty with starting this topic. I have managed to get the driver working (I am not sure if it was removing ApplePS2Controller.kext from the EFI folder or installing the driver there that did the trick, but clearly one of them worked. However, the track point and the three buttons basically do not work now. Is there any way to fix that, or is that expected from using this driver?
  3. Thanks to the guides on this forum I have managed to install macOS Sierra on my Latitude E7450. The thing that is bugging me is that the touchpad is not very smooth, especially when scrolling, which makes the laptop hard to use without a mouse. I tried installing the latest Alps driver by Dr. Hurt but I don't think I have been able to get it working as there is no difference in performance, and still no trackpad detected in system settings. Just wondering if someone can help me get everything working smoothly. Thanks!
