  1. @IxianPixel Thank you. I will test and let you know later.
  2. With the successful hackintosh in Latitude 7490, I decide to install Catalina on Latitude 7390, as the 7390 is much portable. Using the Clover pack of 7490 from https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/11410-dell-latitude-7490-with-i7-8650u-intel-uhd-620-and-1920x1080-lcd-mojavecatalina/ . (Could't find other specialized pack for 7390.) Latitude 7390 Specs: - i7-8650U, Motherboard with Thunderbolt - 16GB RAM - TOSHIBA 256GB KXG50ZNV256G NVMe - DW1820A (VW3T3) Not working well: - Built in display: The color is too much blue and purple, I have to choose another profile, like sRGB, but I still feel the color is a bit abnormal. Is there anyway to make the default profile works normal? - Thunderbolt: Thunderbolt is enabled in BIOS, but not listed in macOS. I have to connect devices to the Type C(Thunderbolt) port before booting, otherwise they will not work, like USB-C flash drive, USB ethernet and USB audio device in WD15. But the DP through Type C can work, as my U2414H connected to WD15, and the color is OK. -Bluetooth: (same issue in 7490) The bluetooth device is listed under USB, and it is drivered. It can find other bluetooth devices, such as pods, speaker, and smart phone, but can't connect. I have tried 2.2.10-2.2.12-2.5.0-2.5.1 drivers, all the same, no go. If more details need to be provided for tweak, please tell me how to capture. Thanks for your help.
  3. @SharpSA Does your 7490 have Thunderbolt? I reproduced the issue in my 7390(has Thunderbolt). @Hervé It could be the Thunderbolt driver issue. The Thunderbold is not listed in MacOS.
  4. I have USB-C flash drive and WD15, confirmed USB-C port on 7490 can work. But, the miniDP on WD15 doesn't have audio.
  5. I can't boot either, if putting DSDT inside. I deleted DSDT and installed Catalina, everything seems good, USB ports in WD15 work fine, but the audio doesn't come out from the miniDP in WD15, no options for that. Internal speaker is OK, HDMI is OK.
  6. Nope, I am still using Yosemite on E5420.
  7. I am having the same issue in Sierra. I used the boot packs from this post: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-precision-clover-guide/&do=findComment&comment=54632, everything is fine except the LAN. Then, I tried another DSDT which works fine in Yosemite, the LAN is active and normal, but USB ports not working. Seems it is not the LAN driver issue. I put the DSDT in attachment, could anyone please take a look? Thank you. DSDT.aml.zip
  8. Ah, copy the Extra folder in terminal, that is the trick. It works. The Welcome screen is normal now. Many thanks, Hervé, Jake.
  9. At the Welcome screen, I didn't have a chance to install the Chameleon and Extra and kext. It is the first time to boot the OS. After I finish the welcome steps half blindly, performing the post-installation steps refer to the guide, also half blindly. The display will be normal. So, I think there's some issue at the Welcome screen.
  10. Thanks, Hervé. Yosemite, Chameleon r2437. When booting for installation, whatever with or without -f, the screen is normal. After installation, I didn't use any flag to boot the OS. Should I try the latest Chameleon r2716? As I don't need SD card reader, I will remove the AppleSDCX kext. LAN, BCM57xx, VEN 14e4 DEV 1681. It's built-in. Maybe I have a different revision E5420? As the DSDT works for so many other people.
  11. Another question. Actually, I got an issue on eth in Yosemite. mac address and IP address issue. For Yosemite, the DSDT is from this guide, https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/7478-dell-latitude-e6xxxe7xxx-yosemite-install-guide/&do=findComment&comment=45222. I replaced the BCM4322 description with the BCM5761 description copied from E5520 DSDT, so the eth can work. And, my BCM4322 Wifi also works without the BCM4322 description in DSDT. But it is not perfect, If I plug in the network cable after system booting up, the eth will not have mac address, the issue will come again. And, there is another issue of the DSDT for Yosemite, the installation screen is normal, but the welcome screen after installation only shows half. I have to guess where the buttons are in the invisible part, finish the welcome inputs and install the kext. Both the DSDT in the guide and my modified DSDT have the welcome screen issue. Can you please help to check if I did correctly for eth issue in the DSDT for Yosemite, and please help on the welcome screen display issue? Thank you. I have attached the Extra folder for Chameleon for installing Yosemite. Extra.zip
  12. Thank you, Jake. The installation completed. Update: After correcting the Clover files in my r3949 in #3 post, the Audio and Network works.
  13. Yes, confirmed. Nothing changed, but erased successfully this time. Now installing El Capitan.
  14. Sorry, I mean intel 520 240G SSD on E5420. I changed to OCZ ARC100 240G to test, got the same issue.
  15. I tried r3949, when erasing the drive, it's very slow, after maybe 2-3 minutes, my drive(OCZ ARC100) disappeared from the disk utility. Erasing should finish within 10 seconds. This also happened in r3556 vs intel 520. Something might be wrong somewhere.
