i've downloaded EFI shell booted it from usb stick and issued next command: setup_var 0x432 0x3 and then rebooted. done.

It's quite strange problem, because i've noticed that it's non-persistent. It can work slow - i will unplug and plug ethernet cable back - and it works fast until next reboot

Jake Lo, i've discovered that IntelMausiEhternet have very slow upload on my system (30-40mbit on LAN 1gbps link). I've replaced it with AppleIntelE1000e.kext, works much better. UPDATE: i've found that both modules have problems with NFS/AFP connections. i have 2-4mbyte/s upload speed on LAN connection, and normal (30mbyte/s) speed using wi-fi. Download have no problems on both of modules. BUT, blackmagic disk speed test shows normal results when i'm using AppleIntelE1000e.kext, but copying files are still 2mbyte/s UPDATE: iperf shows the same results - 50mbit/s upload, 990mbit/s download. i've tried to compile latest IntelMausiEthernet 2.3.0 and got the same results.

problem have place if only i remap caps lock in karabiner. once i remove mapping rule - caps lock works as intended. UPDATE: finally i've remapped caps lock to f18 with custom adb patch, works fine. i've attached a script to automatically disassemble/patch ACPI table to match Jake Lo clover configuration. Works good on my 7710 with AMD card. acpi.tar.gz

which "HD 530 patch (optional)" have you applied to yours dsdt? i have a problem with video after wakeup - browser (safari/chrome) hangs on youtube play started. UPDATE: i've applied IMEI patch, problem disappeared. And do you tested CPU power management? For me - it doesn't lower idle cpu frequency below 1.3Ghz. UPDATE: i've enabled HWP and seems that this solved a problem with idle frequency. i've tried latest voodoops2controller from rehabman and from dr.hurt, no difference - bug with caps lock exists. may be this is karabiner's bug. but on my macbook it works without problems.

Yes, i've already solved this problem. Some my observations: 1) you must put AsAmiShim.efi to drivers64uefi in order to get keyboard working while typing filevault password (i've tried UsbKbDxe but it works only with external usb keyboards). 2) you are using ApplePS2Controller, i've used VoodooPS2Controller, both works without a problem (and both have problems with karabiner caps-lock handling). this is my list of kext's which give me all devices working (except cardreader, which have no working driver): ACPIBatteryManager.kext FakeSMC_CPUSensors.kext AppleIntelE1000e.kext FakeSMC_GPUSensors.kext VoodooPS2Controller.kext FakeSMC.kext FakeSMC_LPCSensors.kext FakeSMC_ACPISensors.kext HackrNVMeFamily-10_12_5.kext i also tried to use discrete ATI card - worked without a problems (need to install Verde.kext), external 4k monitor works too. I've tried your's kexts but this doesn't solved wakeup problems. Which DSDT/SSDT patches have you applied?

Yes, i'm using HackrNVMEFamily from rehabman. It works fine except hibernation (it destroyed system partition completely after first hibernation). Seems that it's can make some problems with battery wake up. I will try to reinstall system to sata ssd.

Jake Lo, do you have any problems with wake on battery? Mine configuration works fine with AC adapter plugged in (sleep/wake works fine). But when i'm unplug power adapter - sleep/wake stops working (it reboots instead of wake up) and system boots veeeery long. (i'm using samsung sm951 NVME system drive)

yes, i'm using yours clover with some minor modifications seems that then i turning off wifi - it works stable without reboots. i'm using dell DW1830 card. which wifi card you are using?

Is it possible to run MacOs on ATI card? (for example, my 7710 have amd w5170m). I've tried to run it, but have got yellow screen stuck on boot ( UPDATE: i've installed verde.kext and disabled switchable graphics in bios, now mac os works with discrete ATI card without problems, UI is more responsive.

please help i have dell 7710 with amd w5170m graphics card (UHD display). i've installed sierra with clover config from post #148. after installation it boots - i see yellow background - and cursor. i can move cursor - but nothing happens. switchable graphics are off (if i turn it on - os x crashes while loading) i've able to boot in safe mode (with -x switch). but without -x switch it still stuck at yellow screen. last lines in system.log: xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.DumpGPURestart): Service only ran for 1 seconds. Pushing respawn out by 9 seconds. (many such messages in log) update: i've solved this problem. i've disabled switchable graphics, so HD520 was inaccessible to macos. switchable graphics must be turned on (in BIOS). also DVMT preallocation fix is required.
