Camera: working with any application; Nvidia GPU working natively. Audio detected as AppleHDA (using the kext above too) Sleep is working too. Hardware monitors; USB 3.0; Bluetooth; Now I have a great hackintosh. Just need to buy a wireless card to replace the Intel Centrino, then will be perfect.

Hi, yep they are more different than Dell E6420 to E6430... So, I have changed some files... I've followed the some parts of http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/285678-lenovo-thinkpad-t420-with-uefi-only/ Now I'm using only UEFI boot. Also, sound, battery meter are working fine. Didn't have time to test Sleep, but will try to do soon.

Hi friends, After a whole day struggling to install, I finally made it! Well, almost everything is working. I use an USB Mountain Lion disk to install (myHack method) but the bootpack from OSX Latitude didn't work. I had to boot to USB with the following flags: PCIRootUID=1 -x -v This was the only flags which worked. As I already knew I wouldn't have internet connection I placed multifail inside a folder on the USB installer. So I have checked: EasyBeast Drivers > Graphics > NVIDIA Fermi > OpenCL Patch > NVIDIA Retail 304.00 (this one gives me full resolution!) Ev0reboot FakeSMC v5.1.61 FakeSMC v5.1.61 Plugins PS/2 Keyboard/Mice and Trackpad USB 3.0 System > AppleACPIPlatform Rollback > 10.8.1 Rollback System > Patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement > OS X 10.8.x Customization > Boot Options > PCI Root ID Fix Customization > Boot Options > Verbose Mode (I like it) Customization > SSDT Options > Sandy Bridge Core i7 (to match my processor) At BIOS, I left enabled the Discrete Mode (this enables Nvidia GPU), AHCI mode, Legacy. Solved by formatting the HDD and re-installing the system, as told before here in the forum that the update 10.8.4 don`t work well, I got back to 10.8.3 and will think twice before update. After run myFix full the wi-fi entered in off state and didn`t get back. Thanks,

Merci, Hervé! Well, I had some Broadcomm kext in /E/E I removed them. I have an USB dongle to have wi-fi working, I removed that also, but not working. You have the same card (AR5B91) ? Where can I get the patched kext?

So, that is the point. I've purchased an Atheros AR5B91 WLan card to install onto my Dell E5520, but when it arrived I realised the card is a little bigger then the original one. The original was connected to WLAN slot and the Atheros card I put in the WWAN slot, but used the leads from WLAN. I can just connect to unprotected wi-fi networks. When try to connect to protected networks, I receive a pop up message saying: "Could not join 'network name' A connection timeout occurred" Would appreciate very much if anyone has any knowledge about that. Don't want to buy another card.

Well, I could uninstall the Ralink software, but the wi-fi issue persist. I could not connect to my wi-fi network, but wait... I removed all the security options from the router and I could connect! So, there is nothing wrong with the network card. Anyone already has something like that?

How can I uninstall the Ralink software? I'm guessing this is the reason, because I installed that to use a USB dongle.

So... The Sleep X Network issue was solved by disabling the Sleep in the power management. The keyboard issue persists, still there's no / and question mark. I bought a Wireless card (Atheros AR5B91) very cheap, but the laptop WLAN port is mini. So I removed the Intel Wi-fi card from the WLAN port and connect the Atheros card at the WWAN port... In the office, I got it wi-fi connection, but no connection at home. I can see the wi-fi network, try to connect and received an instantly message: Connection Failed. Why that(!) The only good news: DUAL MONITOR! \o/ Used an e-port from Dell at the office and had a pretty full resolution with both monitors, the second one (LG 2253A) had 1920x1080 with DVI cable. Would appreciate very much if anyone had any info about the wi-fi connection. C''ya

No way to have the question mark and slash working... Another thing is not working well: Sleep I left computer on and went to shower, when came back, the screen was black, the computer was on, but nothing happened when clicked mouse or pressing the power button. Had to press the power button for 5 sec to reboot. Anyone have this working?

I was having the same issue with mouse/trackpad and keyboard. The solution was the process to install the kexts for trackpad and keyboard onto USB installer with myHack. But the computer just works great after the fourth or fifth install.

Another point is the camera, the resolution is very poor, anyone got it better?

Yep, disk partitioned in two and backup made using Time Machine (hope it works when needed). Now I'm installing the kext you mentioned above. I'm wondered if this will fix my keyboard too.

Hi All, Finally I got a good system working, I've installed ML 10.8.3 with myHack method. Didn't use EDP because it was giving panic issues just after install. What I've made was have installed the E5520 boot pack inside the USB installer before install the system, this made a better effect. What is working: 1. Audio - used VoodooHDA 2.8.3 (but volume is not working properly, doesn't matter if I up or low the volume, it keeps at the same level); 2. Video at native resolution 1366x768x32@60Hz 3. Wi-fi - used the Ralink kext from here and a Pacific Network USB dongle. The process to have it working: first install the kexts using the dmg downloaded and restart. While restarting put the USB wi-fi dongle into any USB port and wait the system to launch application, then you should connect to your wi-fi network. Save your network data to a profile to have connected automatically. 4. Youtube videos are working pretty fine. 5. Java working pretty fine. 6. VPN working too. What is not working well: 1. Keyboard - I'm from Brazil so I need to use a keyboard map named ABNT2, at hackintosh in Virtualbox it works perfectly. But in all the laptops I've installed, it didn't work. Some keys are misplaced and the question mark and slash are not working. I've tried the KeyRemap4Macbook but I assume I don't know how to use it. What to test tomorrow: (tested this morning) Java VPN

My specs: Dell Latitude E5520 Core i7-2620M @2.7GHz 4 GB Ram DDR3 320 HD Bios rev. A01 Video Controller: Intel HD Graphics (working fine @ 1366x768x32 - automatically) Audio Controller: IDT 92HD90 (working fine) Wi-Fi Device: Intel Wireless (not working) Bluetooth... if enabled in Bios, system hangs up. If anybody got wi-fi working with this model (or any Latitude) please share the info!

Hi there, I've been using hackintosh with Virtualbox and Mac OS X 10.6 and this one still alive and kicking, it's my little dear. Then I've got a new kid (Mountain Lion 10.8.2) this one is working too in Virtualbox, through that I could download ML at AppStore and have been trying to install in various laptops. Tried in a Lenovo SL400 (no wi-fi), I got it video working well, camera and ethernet. Tried in a Lenovo SL410 (no wi-fi). Then I got it installed in a Dell Latitude E5520 with myHack method + Extra Pack from OSX Latitude. The first install, got some errors and keyboard and mouse was not working. Then I re-installed and this time I've installed the Generic Extra and just after restart with USB installer, I went to myHack app and run it myFix and Extra pack from OSX, this time worked pretty fine, but no Wi-fi... This one, is the best I've installed. Safari is not flickering and I just want to have wi-fi fixed.
