Also I used a legacy installation of clover because it didn't work with UEFI. -

So I've saved it to EFI-Backups in the same location because I can't find the EFI partition. Would it still work? -

That could actually be the problem... There is no APFS.efi that I see. Where could I download the missing file? -

First, I don't have a SSD I have a HDD, second I've formatted my drive to APFS, third I'm installing from USB with BIOS set to AHCI, Dell Bios has Optimus and UEFI BIOS set to legacy. -

The USB boots and reboots after a couple of times. In the middle of the installer, the computer suddenly reboots. Then when it reboots, it looks like weird text before rebooting which is probably a sign of KP. -

I've also used USBBusFix=Yes and set my HDD mode to AHCI. -

Unfortunately I've tried that so many times to no avail. -
I also have an issue with installing macOS High Sierra. I get the prohibited sign with garbled text saying still waiting for root device. Any fixes?
