Via Disk Utility?
-
How do I do that?
-
Also I used a legacy installation of clover because it didn't work with UEFI.
-
But I can't see it
-
So I've saved it to EFI-Backups in the same location because I can't find the EFI partition. Would it still work?
-
Thanks, I will give it a try
-
That could actually be the problem...
There is no APFS.efi that I see. Where could I download the missing file?
-
First, I don't have a SSD I have a HDD, second I've formatted my drive to APFS, third I'm installing from USB with BIOS set to AHCI, Dell Bios has Optimus and UEFI BIOS set to legacy.
-
It's already set to it but it reboots still
-
It reboots too fast for me to take a screenshot.
-
The USB boots and reboots after a couple of times.
In the middle of the installer, the computer suddenly reboots.
Then when it reboots, it looks like weird text before rebooting which is probably a sign of KP.
-
Do I overwrite the files or merge them?
-
I'll try it and report on the success.
-
I've also used USBBusFix=Yes and set my HDD mode to AHCI.
-
Unfortunately I've tried that so many times to no avail.
-
I also have an issue with installing macOS High Sierra. I get the prohibited sign with garbled text saying still waiting for root device. Any fixes?
