Privyet asergey63,
I've got a dell-xps-2720 too.
It's been running Linux-Mint for a while and now I'd like to install the dell with MacOS.
I'm new to hackintoshing but from what I've read there are a number of different ways to install osx.
This is what I've done so far:
read lots of information which directed me to;
download the "High Sierra MacOS installer", "clover configurator.app", and "Clover_v2.4k_r4439.pkg"
created a bootable usb-drive
booted my xps in uefi mode, from the usb-drive.
The dell booted and started up the installer, but the screen resolution was very poor, so I didn't proceed any further with the install.
My xps is slightly different to yours; it has
i7 cpu
Nvidia GeForce GT 750M graphics
Please would you give me some more details about how you installed Sierra on your XPS;
What method did you use ?
What should I do with the kexts and config.plist ?
I assume that the config.plist can be edited with clover-configurator and is input to clover?
Does that mean clover-configurator is executed on the target pc?
How did you develop the config; was it just trial and error or was there some way to know the settings?
thanks
