Hi all, I sold my Dell E6220 as I couldn't get High Sierra running properly, constant freezes. Any recommendations for a Dell laptop which runs High Sierra without freezing for around £200 or less.

Not worried about WiFi as it will be connected to Lan. Thanks for any help

Still having issues with it crashing randomly, mainly when using photos

Hi all, thanks for the add. i managed to install Sierra on Dell E6220 i7 2620m using i think Jake Lo's guide https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/9383-dell-e6220-i7-2620m-clover-detailed-guide/ which seemed to work well, upgraded to High Sierra as i have HEIC/HEVC photos/videos but i am having issues as the PC freezes and needs rebooting (power switch to off). I think its something to do with photos as using it seems to lead to freeze/crash.

I have putthe kext in 10.13, added sound through kext wizard, generated new SSDT through Piker Alpha but still crashing randomly. any advice please as i have searched for a week but now restored windows. thanks in advance
