    @brainboy345 Please try the following: If you reach your garbled (login) screen press power the button for one second to swich off the screen (sleep mode). If the screen is dark press the power button again to switch on the screen. Then you probably get a nice login screen in 1920x1080 resolution. It works on my E7440 with Mojave.
