Wierd thing is that it only started once I changed graphic platform ig. Wasnt there out noticeable before. Any suggestions on getting the Alpine Ridge TB controller working? It getting USB pass in NG through?

ok that was simply solved by adding string hda-gfx keyword with value "onboard-1" to the HDEF Device Property. Get a slight boot glitch towards the end of the booting. Apple log sort of spreads itself horizontally across the screen for a split second.

Moved forward and got all external graphic interfaces working using platform ig 193B00005 with 191b device is - will post config soon. Any one any idea on how to get External sound working for this framebuffer set? Only time I saw it working was when i used a desktop platform ig 1912 which had no Laptop screen.

Thanks @Jake Lo - I'll take a look at this soon. In the meantime I was going through my config and saw some KextsToPatch patches which I have disabled: Now I am able to get a picture through the HDMI and TB3 ports however not the mDP (until re-enabling the above patches). I captured some connector information using Hackintool and have combined in to the following: Any advice on how to move forward ? Looks as though all connections are being tried over the same Index 2.

@Hervé that one didn't work. Trackpad was unable to respond.

@Hervé or @Jake Lo - Would you happen to know the best Kext for me to use for the Dell Precision 7510 Trackpad? I current use version 2.02 VoodooPS2Controller.kext which works ok but no Trackpad features are available in sysprefs. Something with the keyboard brightness controls for Dell kb's baked in would be cool - if it exists?

Thanks @Jake Lo - Tried changing to 13,1 but no change. Only DP. I had a config (now lost) that did get HDMI AND TB out working but no DP. So all three in theory should be possible.

@Jake Lo, tried the igfxnohdmi for DP audio which made no difference. Haven't tried the CsmVideoDxe for boot messaging font size. Basically no sound on External DP connection is really priority. Nice to get HDMI working as well as thunderbolt out. However Hackintool does detect any other connection than DP.

Trying to get the last of the problems fixed. Thanks @Jake Lo for mentioning the layout id 11 - this got the microphone working. I am getting DP output however no sound out over the DP - I have tried fixing the attached working config with Hackintool but whenever adjusting the Audio / Video through Hackintool I can't reboot and need to restore. Another general problem is that the output on the 4K display is very small when booting - any idea how to fix ? I tried the EFILogniHiDPI and UIScale settings but these don't adjust the font of the boot scroll text. EDIT: Attaching newer config.plist and ioreg with monitor plugged in to DP CLOVER-OUT.zip ioreg_config.zip

I installed the DW1560 Wifi card last night and it works well - really fast. However I appear to have lost USB3 now. I say appear since I don't know 100% that the loss of USB3 was when I swapped the WiFi card. I won't pretend to be the judge as to whether or not such a thing is possible.

Thanks @Jake Lo - do I need to state the layout though ? I have working onboard sound just nothing through DP.

@Jake Lo Do you know if LSPCON was needed for the Dell Precision 7510? Updated Clover and WEG Kexts and Lilu to latest. Need to run further analysis but now getting TB3 graphics and HDMI output. However not at the same time. mDP was working but has now stopped working. Any one know what the AppleALC layout-id should be set ?

Slowly moving in the right direction. mDP output is now working - no audio HDMI still nothing TB3 nothing config.plist 3.zip

Sort of moved forward a bit removed the InjectIntel from the config and now using some Device Properties and KextToPatch properties. @Jake Lo Sort of good news > when plugging in an HDMI cable the machine reboots (using BIOS options as discussed above). config.plist.zip

I guess there is still work to be done on getting the P530 working properly. Ordered the DW1560!

@Hervé Thanks for confirming looks like I'll shoot for a 1560 in that case.

I assume the stock Intel is 2 x antennas as well in that case. What's the easiest AC M.2 card in that case ? Your article below suggests perhaps the DW1560 but be great to get something that will just work with no hacking

Thanks @Jake Lo - That's the one I've got implemented and have the dGPU disabled. I have this set in BIOS: Enabled Switchable Graphics (Check) Discrete Graphics Controller Direct Output Mode - disabled (uncheck) Anywhere to go in this config to output through mDP, HDMI or TB3? Side question: Is the Dell Wireless 1830 (DW1830) a straight easy swap for the 7510 ? No extra antenna or anything is have to deal with ? I saw a few threads with folk having problems getting the full AC speed - how did it work for you ??

@Jake Lo A bunch of weirdness happens when trying to use any of these options combined with the additional option of turning back on the dGPU from the BIOS hack as well. Basically the NVIDIA card won't appear when bringing the dGPU. Furthermore the if I check Enable Switchable Graphics its unchecked again once having booted up and then restarted.
