  1. I did it, and once running the installation, it gives me then following error: "Mach-o files has bad magic number". afterwards, it will go back to the bootloader chose. I also took pictures of the processes i did, if i may send them to you. Please Help.
  2. this is the guide i followed and got the point i described above: i took the older version of myhack, installed the mac 10.8 installESD.dmg file to the usb stick. Afterwards i run myhack again, and importeted the bootpack. Then i run the Chameleon wizard and update it to version 2248. And still, it boots to the bootloader, and once i choose the usb stick with the installation, it shows 2 lines and comes back to the bootloader screen, As it doesn't recognize the installation. i formatted the usb stick to mac journilzed and GUID partition. What do i miss? do i need to configure the Chameleon wizard somehow?
  3. no it wasn't a typo. i thought that the guides you referred me mentioned that it supports 10.8/ but now everything is much clearer. thank you
  4. i'm sorry to ask again, but I did everything as described: i took the older version of myhack, installed the mac 10.8 installESD.dmg file to the usb stick. Afterwards i run myhack again, and importeted the bootpack. Then i run the Chameleon wizard and update it to version 2248. 5. Thanks. Stupid question - how do i upgrade the Chameleon? do i need to enter any command in the bootloader?
  6. I tried to do it according to the guide, but once i boot it, i get the bootloader, but once i choose the installation disc, it only does show 3 or 4 lines and gets back to the bootloader. It is too fast to read the error.
  7. Thank you, i will try it once i have all the needed files.
  8. And if i may add a final question, can the Dell D620 work with a higher version? if so, is there a guide for dummys?
  9. Honest i'm not an expert I used the D620SLV1 iso to boot into the installaion, and now i use it to boot the installed OS. I tried to boot from the booloader that EDP installs, but it boots to a black screen. Is there a way to make this work? with the D620SLV1 it boots perfect I somehow managed the LAN (but no wifi)
  10. Hey, i installed Mac 10.6 from a retail DVD - afterwards i upgraded to 10.6.8 combo. the installation went without errors (at least i think). i have sound, BT, mouse and KB working good. the only issue is, i don't have network. no LAN and no WIFI. i tried to install EDP but it doesn't work without network connection. can anyone help me with this?
