@Jake Lo removing voodooPS2Controller.kext and replacing with Apple one breaks keyboard and still no trackpad
-
@Jake Lo Ok, i think i already did but i will try again.

@Jake Lo do you mean the appleps2smarttouchpad.kext? I dont have a ApplePS2Contoller.kext just the smarttouchpad one.

@Jake Lo I added the kexts and ssdt and replaced config file and it fixed the trackpad but broke the keyboard... lol I reverted everything back so i have keyboard again but no trackpad using my original EFI and config.plist. I also just realized my audio does not work

Sorry i think i uploaded my original EFI before i added them. Here is the correct one. I will add what you provided to my EFI and see if it works as well. 5480 EFI_Current.zip

Tergazzi started following Latitude 5480 Trackpad issue on Catalina

Hi everyone, I have been scouring for a resolution to this trackpad not working issue and some of the promising posts the attachments were unavailable. I am running Catalina with OpenCore. I have the voodooI2C kext and the DDST but it still isnt working. Not sure if I am missing something in my config.plist or what. If someone could take a look and point me in the right direction it would be appreciated, thanks. EFI.zip
