  1. Hi, so I disabled hibernation and that made no difference. Below is the latest pmset log after hibernation was disabled. Apps like chrome and vs code still don't open or rather they crash after wake. My setup is: Dell Latitude e7450, Intel i3 5300-U processor, Intel HD 5500 graphic card (iGPU). I'm using Opencore 0.6.6 (latest) and below is link to download my EFI folder. It does not contain Kexts folder (I have attached screenshot of all kexts I have installed since it was too big to upload here.. Latest PMSet log (after hibernation 0): 2021-02-09 17:57:11 +0100 Assertions PID 135(WindowServer) TurnedOn UserIsActive "com.apple.iohideventsystem.queue.tickle serviceID:100000236 name:AppleACPILid product:NULL eventType:3" 00:00:00 id:0x0x90000804f [System: DeclUser kDisp] 2021-02-09 17:57:11 +0100 Notification Display is turned on 2021-02-09 17:57:11 +0100 Assertions Kernel Idle sleep preventers: IODisplayWrangler 2021-02-09 17:57:11 +0100 Assertions PID 162(mDNSResponder) Created MaintenanceWake "mDNSResponder:maintenance" 00:00:00 id:0x0xd000082a4 [System: PrevIdle DeclUser kDisp] 2021-02-09 17:57:11 +0100 Assertions PID 162(mDNSResponder) Released MaintenanceWake "mDNSResponder:maintenance" 00:00:00 id:0x0xd000082a4 [System: PrevIdle DeclUser kDisp] 2021-02-09 17:59:12 +0100 Wake Wake from Normal Sleep [CDNVA] : due to LID0/UserActivity Assertion Using BATT (Charge:98%) 2021-02-09 17:59:12 +0100 HibernateStats hibmode=0 standbydelaylow=10800 standbydelayhigh=86400 4 2021-02-09 17:59:12 +0100 WakeTime WakeTime: 120.505 sec 2021-02-09 17:59:12 +0100 Kernel Client Acks Delays to Sleep notifications: [AppleIntelFramebuffer driver is slow(msg: SetState to 1)(450 ms)] [ApplePS2Controller driver is slow(msg: SetState to 0)(428 ms)] [en0 driver is slow(msg: WillChangeState to 0)(5288 ms)] 2021-02-09 17:59:12 +0100 Kernel Client Acks Delays to Wake notifications: [AppleHDADriver driver is slow(msg: SetState to 1)(474 ms)] [PRT0 driver is slow(msg: SetState to 2)(1140 ms)] [ApplePS2Controller driver is slow(msg: SetState to 2)(1225 ms)] [AppleIntelFramebuffer driver is slow(msg: SetState to 2)(40415 ms)] [AppleIntelFramebuffer driver is slow(msg: SetState to 2)(40009 ms)] [AppleIntelFramebuffer driver is slow(msg: SetState to 2)(40029 ms)] 2021-02-09 17:59:15 +0100 Assertions PID 138(loginwindow) Created UserIsActive "Loginwindow User Activity" 00:00:00 id:0x0x9000082e7 [System: PrevIdle DeclUser kDisp] 2021-02-09 17:59:15 +0100 Assertions PID 138(loginwindow) Released UserIsActive "Loginwindow User Activity" 00:00:00 id:0x0x9000082e7 [System: PrevIdle DeclUser kDisp] Total Sleep/Wakes since boot at 2021-02-09 17:54:10 +0100 :1 2021-02-09 17:59:28 +0100 : Showing all currently held IOKit power assertions Assertion status system-wide: BackgroundTask 0 ApplePushServiceTask 0 UserIsActive 1 PreventUserIdleDisplaySleep 0 PreventSystemSleep 0 ExternalMedia 0 PreventUserIdleSystemSleep 1 NetworkClientActive 0 Listed by owning process: pid 346(nsurlsessiond): [0x0000013500018307] 00:00:02 PreventUserIdleSystemSleep named: "NSURLSessionTask 176F069D-9041-4872-BFEA-082658EA1A63" Timeout will fire in 10797 secs Action=TimeoutActionTurnOff pid 262(mds_stores): [0x00000010000b800c] 00:05:09 BackgroundTask named: "com.apple.metadata.mds_stores.power" pid 135(WindowServer): [0x0000003b0009804f] 00:00:00 UserIsActive named: "com.apple.iohideventsystem.queue.tickle serviceID:1000003f4 name:IOHIDEventDriver product:Keyboard eventType:3" pid 96(mds): [0x00000010000b800b] 00:05:09 BackgroundTask named: "com.apple.metadata.mds.power" pid 319(UserEventAgent): [0x0000007a000b81f2] 00:03:22 BackgroundTask named: "com.apple.SafariBookmarksSyncAgent.XPC.ZoneSubscriptionRegistration" Created for PID: 520. 2. Hi. I'm having wake issues with my E7450. I have tried literally everything and can't get it to work! This is my pmset log, i cut it to the part from where it starts to wake (lid opens) till I see the screen. It takes literally 2 minutes, and when it wakes (desktop shows), all apps which aren't made from Apple don't work. Meaning, safari etc work but Chrome, VS Code, spotify etc don't work. AppleIntelFramebuffer driver shows 3 times x 40 seconds of delay which amounts to the 2 minutes. ///////////////////// //////////// //////////////////// 2021-02-09 13:20:01 +0100 Notification Display is turned on 2021-02-09 13:20:01 +0100 Assertions Kernel Idle sleep preventers: IODisplayWrangler 2021-02-09 13:20:01 +0100 Assertions PID 152(mDNSResponder) Created MaintenanceWake "mDNSResponder:maintenance" 00:00:00 id:0x0xd00008178 [System: PrevIdle DeclUser BGTask SRPrevSleep kCPU kDisp] 2021-02-09 13:20:01 +0100 Assertions [System: PrevIdle DeclUser BGTask SRPrevSleep kCPU kDisp] 2021-02-09 13:20:03 +0100 Assertions PID 152(mDNSResponder) Released MaintenanceWake "mDNSResponder:maintenance" 00:00:02 id:0x0xd00008178 [System: DeclUser BGTask kDisp] 2021-02-09 13:21:38 +0100 Assertions PID 270(mds_stores) Released BackgroundTask "com.apple.metadata.mds_stores.power" 00:04:40 id:0x0xb00008030 [System: DeclUser BGTask kDisp] 2021-02-09 13:22:01 +0100 Wake Wake from Normal Sleep [CDNVA] : due to LID0/UserActivity Assertion Using AC (Charge:100%) 2021-02-09 13:22:01 +0100 HibernateStats hibmode=3 standbydelaylow=10800 standbydelayhigh=86400 3 2021-02-09 13:22:01 +0100 WakeTime WakeTime: 120.438 sec 2021-02-09 13:22:01 +0100 Kernel Client Acks Delays to Sleep notifications: [AppleHDADriver driver is slow(msg: SetState to 0)(505 ms)] [ApplePS2Controller driver is slow(msg: SetState to 0)(432 ms)] [en0 driver is slow(msg: WillChangeState to 0)(5301 ms)] 2021-02-09 13:22:01 +0100 Kernel Client Acks Delays to Wake notifications: [AppleHDADriver driver is slow(msg: SetState to 1)(973 ms)] [PRT0 driver is slow(msg: SetState to 2)(1167 ms)] [ApplePS2Controller driver is slow(msg: SetState to 2)(1217 ms)] [AppleIntelFramebuffer driver is slow(msg: SetState to 2)(40385 ms)] [AppleIntelFramebuffer driver is slow(msg: SetState to 2)(40010 ms)] [AppleIntelFramebuffer driver is slow(msg: SetState to 2)(40023 ms)] 2021-02-09 13:22:01 +0100 Assertions PID 81(powerd) Created InternalPreventSleep "com.apple.powermanagement.acwakelinger" 00:00:00 id:0x0xd00008188 [System: PrevIdle DeclUser BGTask SRPrevSleep kCPU kDisp] Total Sleep/Wakes since boot at 2021-02-09 13:16:50 +0100 :1 2021-02-09 13:22:26 +0100 : Showing all currently held IOKit power assertions Assertion status system-wide: BackgroundTask 1 ApplePushServiceTask 0 UserIsActive 1 PreventUserIdleDisplaySleep 0 PreventSystemSleep 0 ExternalMedia 0 PreventUserIdleSystemSleep 0 NetworkClientActive 0 InternalPreventSleep 1 Listed by owning process: pid 135(WindowServer): [0x0000003b00098055] 00:00:00 UserIsActive named: "com.apple.iohideventsystem.queue.tickle serviceID:100000416 name:IOHIDEventDriver product:Keyboard eventType:3" pid 96(mds): [0x0000000f000b800f] 00:05:28 BackgroundTask named: "com.apple.metadata.mds.power" pid 81(powerd): [0x0000012a000d8188] 00:00:25 InternalPreventSleep named: "com.apple.powermanagement.acwakelinger" Timeout will fire in 20 secs Action=TimeoutActionRelease Kernel Assertions: 0x4=USB id=500 level=255 0x4=USB creat=9.2.21, 1:19 PM description=com.apple.usb.externaldevice.1d100000 owner=IOUSBHostDevice id=505 level=255 0x4=USB creat=9.2.21, 1:25 PM description=com.apple.usb.externaldevice.1d170000 owner=5880 id=506 level=255 0x4=USB creat=9.2.21, 1:23 PM description=com.apple.usb.externaldevice.1d130000 owner=IOUSBHostDevice id=507 level=255 0x4=USB creat=9.2.21, 1:24 PM description=com.apple.usb.externaldevice.1d160000 owner=Integrated_Webcam_HD Idle sleep preventers: IODisplayWrangler //////////////////////// ///////////// ////////////////////////

  4. @raif did you fix any of the sleep issues?
  5. @raif I have noticed that when i wake from sleep, apart that it takes ~2 minutes, apps like chrome simply dont open anymore.
  6. @Jake Lo how do i activate verbose mode that it can show logs in screen when waking up ? -v in bootargs shouldn't work right?
  7. @raif i tried it, it recognised it as a touchpad and all but couldn't get three finger swipe to work
  8. @raif when you say gestures, you mean 2 finger scroll or more? i only have 2 fingers scroll now but would love to have 3 fingers swipe (to change desktops etc.)?
  9. @raif weird, with your ps2 kexts my keyboard works fine but trackpad doesn't work
  10. @raif i have exactly the same specs, and exactly the same symptoms... sleep works but it's a "dealbreaker" since it takes sooo much to wake up it's probably worth to even shutdown and restart better than wait for waking up. one question though, do you have the capslock problem? if not can you share what kexts you are using ?
  11. @Hervé I tried all darkwake you mentioned and no result. actually with a couple of them, it couldn't even wake (darkwake=2,3) for example, while with 0, no and 1 i can wake for 2 minutes and 1 seconds. @Jake Lo yes i did reset the NVram, i also did a clean oc snapshot and tried your bootflag (alone and with darkwake herve suggested) and still no difference. Also, the ps2 kext you provided @Jake Lo did not work, i remove apple's one and neither touchpad or keyboard was working.
  12. Jake, unfortunately neither your file did work. I still have wake issues. BUT it wakes now in about 1:30mins not 5 minutes, which is a plus. Can we find out why this happens? Also should I note, I just upgraded to Big Sur.
  13. What about regarding the SSDTs? I told you I copied mine from the github link above, are those okay for my cpu model ? i should cross ssdt from the list of causes?
  14. What about the sleep problem? Do you have any tips?
