  1. I am using an active adaptor I am able to go into the installation using one of the EFI's I created it goes on with the first phase of installation and during the second phase it just reboots continuously, I also tried a HDMI projector and the results are the same no matter what, I'm pretty sure its not the adaptor its been ruled out, something to do with framebuffer patching which I have no idea, maybe something else but thanks for responding
  2. I wish I would have known that sooner now I need to buy a dp to vga adaptor, I don't have a vga port just the HDMI and dp I use this HDMI to vga adaptor using one efi I was able to boot and install Mac OS when in rebooted to continue to the second phase it started keeps rebooting but the installer works fine, maybe you can take a look at that efi? maybe I can dm you? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1S0D4Mj8rCq3xdElKMSdd2lqjN3TxFkDE/view?usp=sharing this is the efi it boots into Mac OS installer gets everything done but when reboots to install the second half it keeps rebooting
  3. I have the same adaptor and I use HDMI, I tried using the efi you gave me it still boots into a black screen what bios setting do you use? I can't disable fast boot in this pc, I don't know what's wrong
  4. I changed everything as you said and after the verbose the scene goes black no display, i guess its progress since it doesn't go into a kernel panic but what do I do now
  5. Hello, this is my latest error log and my updated efi, I don't know what's wrong perhaps if someone can fix it for me it would be great, EFI.zip
  6. The only monitor I have is vga,so I use a HDMI to vga adaptor I will have to take this to a friends home and try it there, is there anything else in that config that might stop it from working

  9. Hello all I'm trying to install Monterey on my dell OptiPlex 5070 sff; specs: i7-9700k 16GB ram intel UHD 630 graphics ALC255 audio I followed the Dortania guide and did a efi, the installer Is stuck at IOG flags 0x3 (0x51) I have attached my efi folder as a zip kindly help me, I am not too good with this coding type of stuff EFI.zip UPDATE: This happens in most coffee lake 9th gen refresh processors with intel UHD 630 Graphics you have to do a set the 3rd port as HDMI otherwise it won't work use this guide here https://github.com/perez987/Intel-UHD-Graphics-630-on-macOS
  10. Thanks man I used DPCIManager to dump my DSDT and used that with ssdt time to create the patches now audio works. for anyone with the same problem this is what I did, used Aida64 to verify my audio codec set my layout id to 12, used DPCIManager to dump my dsdt.aml and used that to fixhpet opened patches_oc.plist in ProperTree copied the add entry under apci add copied it to my config plist created a new child and deleted everything under patches and replaced it with the ones from patches_oc.plist saved and rebooted... now I have audio.
  11. thanks man shall try that, I tried using it but I don't have a DSDT.aml I only have ssdt-ec, ssdt plnf ssdt imei and ssdt xosi I don't know what I'm supposed to do here
  12. hey Jake, I did test for audio and I still got nothing, I added codeccommander.kext and still nothing is working I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I also updated the alcid = 12, I'm still with the debug version of open core I don't know if that has got something to do with this, I have attached my current efi folder as well, its been a long time since I made a Hackintosh and I'm not really familiar with these things, kindly help me outEFI.zip it said that the audio is c216 intel 7 series, and this is a core i7 intel only model EFI.zip I checked again with DPCI manager and it says that my audio device is 0x80861E20 with subdevice 0x10280535 I don't know if it helps
  13. I have tried to update it and I have attached the updated config.plist im very new to this, the last Hackintosh I made was a snow leopard on a ep45 ud3r core 2 quad that served me well, I make music so that's what I'm good at I can't code but I learn fast Config.plist 2.zip
  14. thank you will try it, can you take a look at my config.plist and my efi folder to see if I have done it right, I know its too much to ask but I have a working system and don't want to mess it up Config.plist.zip
  15. thank you, I will try to do that, could you take a look at my config.plst I'm not really good at these things
