I've just tried with the new RC4 and now system restarts at some point during loading kexts. I couldn't catch the last line unfortunately. I believe it's related with new chameleon.

Hi All, I have a nasty problem during the first boot that i have experienced with 2 different system including my own. As you may check the screen photo, after i initialize the boot sequence, i always stuck here: BootCacheControl: Unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist: 2 No such file or directory Bug: launchctl.c:2408 (24957):30: (dbfd = open(g_job_overrides_db_path, ...) I dug a little bit however couldn't find any solution. Here is my system specs: Intel E5300 CPU, MSI P35 Platinum P35 chipset mobo (BIOS 1.C), 9800GT (Green Edition) VGA, AHCI Enabled HDD Actually i have a working Snow Leopard setup (installed into an external USB HDD) with the above config and i tried myhack 2.0 rc3 installer with snow leopard just in case and had no problem to reach into the SL setup screen. After i got this error, i thought it might be system specific so i visited a friend of mine who has MSI X48 mobo with quad core cpu and got the same exact error as well. So what might be the reason and how can i solve to issue to get in to the Lion installer working ? Thx in advance. PS: image res. is kind a big hope forum resizes it... if not sorry for the inconvenience.

well my name is macist, obviously just my nick name, and from Istanbul, Turkey. been into macs for years but the cost and some other habits kept me from having a real one though i've been experimenting from the first days of PearPC [am i ok to call that little delicious simulator a hackintosh bending the meaning a lil bit ?]. Later moved on to the VMWare and then to the real hackintosh. currently have an external usb drive installed with SL thx to myhack 1.1. now wanna go with the next step; king of the cats, lion. Majored in IT and i can easily say i've been a computer enthusiast since i was in middle school. Hackintosh give me the chance to explore the world of Unix with the added benefit of nice UX. I'm not into programming although i had classes C, C++, web based & assembler. Didn't touch a line of code for yrs. Experiences: MS-DOS, Windows [The whole family], iOS, Android, Linux flavors.
