  1. Ok i opened up com.Chameleon.boot.plist in the Extra folder on my USB pen drive in Text Editor. THen I typed in Graphics Mode 1280x1024x16 which showed up in the list when i typed ?video and saved it. But when I restarted my computer with npci=0x2000 -v -f I am back to the old problem PCI Configuration begin. When I boot directly into myHack USB Install it gets stuck on Apple logo with no activity.
  2. Hey Guys, I have followed the myHack installation giude for lion but I am having some problems getting to the installation screen. First I was stuck at this "PCI Configuration begin", 21082011166.jpg. I tried to resolve it by typing ncpi=0x2000 and running it in verbose mode but then I got to another strange screen with a strange white bar on the top of the screen,"21082011168.jpg" that moves halfway to the screen. I though that it was supposed to be some kind of progress bar but I waited for it for 5 minutes or so but the computer did not respond. The pen drive activity light was not blinking and the HDD activity light too was not blinking so I came to the conclusion that the computer had stopped responding. The strange thing is that when i did restart my computer and ran it in verbose mode only without ncpi=0x2000 it didnt show PCI Configuration error but showed the same white bar on top. When i try to run the installer directly in which you should get to the Apple logo straightaway my computer keeps restarting while the small indicator on top after the timer is rotating. I have a Sony Vaio E series with core i3 350m, Intel HM55 chipset, ATI Radeon 5650m and 4GB Ram. I dont know why it just doesnt get to the installation screen. I have checked the BIOS there is no setting available for Sata Mode, which I presume is set to AHCI mode by default. Other options are Intel VT which is enabled and some CPU C3/C6 support which is enabled too. Any ideas?
