I am born and raised in Sweden but live now a days in Finland ( No Polar bears walk on the streets here )
-How long you have used a hackint0sh (if this is your first time, state that you are new to this).
I used and ran successfully 1.5.7 Then when 10.6 came out I managed to run that one as well with patching DSDT fully for my old mother board. Then I upgraded my comp from scratch and found out that sandbridge at the time did not work to well with osx86 So I dropped the idea and was utterly devastated . Now I have regained hope that I will get it to work again since there has been advances SO in total I guess I have been using Hackintosh for about 2 to 3 years I guess.
-A brief summary of your experiences in hackint0shing (if any).
Patching DSDT for getting audio working, graphical side ( this was during 10.6 time with ATI. ), network patches allso was done back then. I am familiar and proficient in Linux/Unix ( linux a lot of distros and Unis is Solaris and free solaris.)
-What triggered your interest in hackint0sh.
Well what can I say, the Mac is tattooed in my heart
-Your general computer skill level.
Above average, Good enough to play around with patches, kernels and other deeper stuff, but I tend to be lazy though and rather upgrade other peoples coding instead of doing my own from scratch
-List any technical experience you have in various operating systems and programming languages (if any).
Solaris, Linux: I am proficient enough to manage to Sys Admin these OS on a server level on a basic level at the moment ( this is about to change with certain Oracle Certificates though during Spring )
-If you have any talents/skills that you would like to offer to help the community (optional).
At the moment I rather brush up on my skills and relearn what I have forgotten. A lot of brushing up needs to be done right now before I can start feeling that I am proficient enough to help the community, but will do so when my memroy is being regained ( I am getting old after all with me 33 years )
