Can someone more experienced at flying cross country explain why it takes over an hour longer to travel from the East Coast to the West Coast than from West Coast to East Coast? It can't be distance related. The points of reference are EWR and SEA.

Can anyone familiar with traffic court laws in Washington State tell me if there is an option similar to traffic school in California whereby you can get a ticket dismissed by completing an online course? Or am I just screwed? I've already checked the websites for King County and the state Department of Licensing but neither provided any help.

Just paid off my car today. I feel so accomplished. It only took me 5 1/2 years and 175k miles. Next checkbox on my list: finding a nice apartment in the heart of Seattle that's not too pricey.(I'm sure the basic rules apply: SELECT 2 FROM {clean | close | cheap}.)
