Hello, there I had a problem with my new d630 I brought it with hight screen resolution and of course got a problem when the screen after installing EDP 2.2 was white. I had found custom dsdt here for 1440 resolution and replaced original EDP dsdt, but the laptop was freezing unexpectable without any reason. A thread about X3100 at projectosx shows nice patch for the DSDT. http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1294&st=0&p=8348entry8348 So I replaced: "AAPL01,DualLink", Buffer (0x04) { 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, with: "AAPL01,DualLink", Buffer (0x04) { 0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, by DSDTSE and recompiled it. There're 2 places for the DualLink inside DSDT. Now everything works great. Hope it will help somebody cuz I wasted plenty of time. P.S. I didn't try 64bit mode

Hi, I have brought media bay candy a couple weeks ago. There're few issues with it. When I boot up Lion I see media bay partitions, but sometimes I don't. It looks like that the media bay hdd is in sleep mode, cuz if I open up Disk Utility I see the disk and I can mount it after clicking Repair > Stop Repair > Mount. (Just mount button click doesn't do anything) I tried to boot up osx from the hdd it loads extremely slow neither bidirectional file coping speed is ok.

Boot fixed after installing to Snow Leo volume

D630 C2D 2.00GHz X3100 lags a lot with 2Gb memory. I just updated it to 4GB and now it runs really fast. Right now I have 2 windows of Finder, Skype, Transmission, Activity Monitor, Terminal and 2 windows of Chromium opened - one with that page and the other one with flash video playing on the external monitor. Mission Control runs smoothly too.

Hello, I have installed OSX Lion to D630. I can boot it up from installation flash with Chameleon 2 RC5 VS. I also installed Chameleon 2 RC5 VS to HD, but when I'm booting Lion from HD it's immediately restarting PC. I have tried add -v -x param before booting but it acts the same and I can't see why cuz it goes too fast. I see something like loading apple extentions then something about processor and then restart. But everything is ok with Snow Leopard. Also I have an issue with BIOS update I have installed freedos to flash drive, but when I run D630_OSX.EXE it says getFatBlock error.
