Thanks Jake. Based on your recommendation I looked a little closer and found during the many attempts to get my USB installation going I did not replace the the /System/Installation/Packages link with the actual folder from the application. Resolved now.

Hi, I am using Clover v4012 and created a USB for installing El Capitan on a E6420. I am able to get to the install screen. The only menu options I have in the OS X Utilities screen are "Restore from Time Machine....", "Reinstall OS X" , "Get Help..." and "Disk Utility". How can I fix the USB so that I can get to a point where it will allow me to start the installation.

Thanks. Running edpweb.command gave me a build failed waiting for myHack to complete. So I ran it manually. Also removed the FileNVRAM.dylib file. Not sure which fixed it

Sorry I am a bit lost. I have a D830 / Nvidia. Can you tell me how to apply EDPWeb. I did update EDP by booting from the USB pen. Thank you.

Hello, Just upgraded to 10.7.4. On a reboot I am getting stuck prior to reading the DSDT file (screen shot attached). Any ideas. Booting from the USB stick and selecting the hard drive gets me in without issues. I have added the AppleACPIPlatform.kext as described in this forum and still no go. Thank you.

Hi, I am installing 10.7 on a D830 with NVidia. I used myHack to inject the Extras and installed it as described in the how to. However after booting and before installing I saw I had network via the wired connection but no sound. After running EDP 5.1 I gain sound but lose the network. Any ideas? Thanks
