  1. I just re-downloaded from http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp/download/ and it's working - just had to fire up edptool.command from /extra as others have been doing. Cheers!
  2. I tried a couple of times to do this without luck. The SVN binary is in /usr/bin but I'm getting an error when I try to run it so I'm going to install it again with XCode and see how it goes. Thanks again guys. Edit: With SVN installed the EDP install appears to be hanging on backing up the current Extra folder. My IT-Ninja skills have been taxed to their maximum thus far, I'm tapping out and waiting for the experts to point me in the right direction.
  3. Good to know, we appreciate all of the effort you guys put into this stuff.
  4. Not that it helps, but I am having the same issue with an empty /extra after installing EDP. I'm running the version currently linked from the EDP download page.

    E6500

I don't recall which version of Chameleon that I made the attempt with, but booting with graphicsenable=yes option set got full resolution working. Card showed as 'NVidia' but unknown type in the system profiler. There were no OSX drivers available from the NVIDIA website, the NV160M doesn't have any official support for the OS. If I'm feeling froggy over the next couple of days I might give it another shot, but I've got a D820 and a 4300 working flawlessly with 10.6.8 at the moment so it's not a really high priority. More of a science project really.

    E6500

Does your E6500 have an Intel or NVidia graphics card? I enjoyed a fair amount of success with my E6500 except for the NVidia card that's in there. Managed to get it working full resolution but had issues with video playback and full QE/CI.
  7. What kind of video card does your D830 have, the Intel GMA or NVidia? Either way if you run the edptool and choose the kext configuration option and then select the correct option for your laptop (e.g 10. D830. Intel Graphic Card) it will install the proper video drivers and will likely sort your problems out.
