Not to much, I figured it out, this is the lis of parts needed to do the swap *LCD back *LCD Front bezel *ATG 630/620 Hinges *ATG 630/620 LCD Inverter *ATG Power button/hinge cover * LCD mounting brackets The brackets are a bit difficult to find, i was able to mod my original ones with a few hours of time and a dremal. You also DON'T have to have the inverter but the keyboard illuminator won't work.. I spent about $75 in all on the swap, and it was damn worth it.

I recently did the ATG swap on my D630, the only thing I don't have working is the keyboard illumination light. From the length of the ribbon I'm guessing that it connects into the ATG's LED inverter, as I am still using the normal D630 I don't see anything. Does anyone know if the inverter for the ATG is different? I looked around on google trying to find a picture of one up close but I wasn't very successful. Thanks ~Nathan

I get decent frame rates in Assault cube (lowest settings) and about 15fps in Red Crucible 2. Now I know that this laptop is not for gaming, but I when I minimize to the dock (genie effect) it lags a bit. Also, I'm emulating with wine and running Tiberium Sun, and my FPS are way low, now I am emulating so I know there is a huge possibility it has to do with the emulation, but the thing with Red Crucible makes me wonder. Any Ideas? ~Nathan

In windows I'd use fur mark to stress test my cards (Desktop) I want to see how my x3100 is doing under Lion, what tools do you use for Mac?

Okay, I see what you mean, I don't really care much for bluetooth but is there anyway to add one for the bluetooth interface? EDIT: I got it. Thank you for all your help, you're awesome.

Here is what I'm talking about. I don't think creating a new network would help.

I have Lion almost 100% on my D630 (yes including dual batteries) Although WIFI shows up as Bluetooth PAN under the Network prefpane. I have tried two different cards but both show up with the same results. I tried googling but not much anvil for it, Anyone have a solution? I'm using a boadcom 93412 card. Same issues with the Broadcom 4311 Thanks

I can't have both batteries installed or Voodoobattery.kext will flip out. System lags a lot when the secondary battery is installed, dmesg throws the following error repeatedly : VoodooBattery.kext: [Warning] Battery 1 has no remaining capacity reported Any one have an idea as how to fix this?
