Hi Newbie, I have same notebook Dell E6420 with HD3000 graphics, but with display resolution 1600x900. I try your Extra folder but without success than I have question. Which BIOS version you have? Do you do some changes on /System/Library/Extensions? I want prepare my installation step by step process but I still have some problems which I want resolve. For example: Volume Up and Down on keys F11 and F12 not working, I must go to Settings / VoodooHDA pane. Most important problem for me is, that battery don't show capacity and system don't see battery. Could somebody help? Thank you //DALDA

I have another Dell notebook with NVidia card, and there it is OK. It looks that problem is with some kext (driver) for Intel GMA4500 graphics. No other idea? Thanks for reply. //DALDA

Hello all Dell 6400 users with Mac OS X. I am beginner with Mac OS X and I have following problem: I have Dell Latitude E6400 with Intel GMA 4500 graphics card. If I use this with screen on build in display it works OK. But if I use dock station with two Dell monitors 2x1650x1080 - os detect only one monitor ad switch to resolution 1024x768. In display settings I see only this resolution. To be sure - I use Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3. and default apple kext for graphics. Do somebody have some solution? Thanks //DALDA
