Could someone please help me troubleshoot why I can't get QE/CI to work on my e6400 Latitude with NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M 256MB? I am using this dsdt-mariusz2.aml.zip from (post 44 of this thread) I have tried GraphicsEnabler=Yes with no luck. According to Mariusz, Graphics should work with DSDT fix or GraphicsEnabler=Yes. I am not sure what to do next...? Mariusz, Thank you again. I have my e6400 up and running thanks to your advice and files. I got the Dell DW1397 4312GB card working with Broadcom43XXFamilyrev2.kext from here. Onboard NIC is now working too, mine is a 82567 LM. Also, how do you get QE/CI working? I tried GraphicsEnabler=Yes, but that didn't help. Thank you for this list, it helps a lot for my understand. Is there a way to find out which kexts are being used on the RUNNING SYSTEM, right now? (Not that I want to delete the kexts, but so that I can map out this kext abcde.kext is used for the SD card reader, this other one qwerty.kext is used to for the WIFI card, etc...).

Doh! Now I feel stupid and I read this thread last week too. Thank you Mariusz. A question for you, since my CPU, WIFI card and probably the bios are not the same as yours, will that make a difference with regard to the dsdt.aml, your bootpack and the other kexts? Thank you. CP

I am not new to computers but am fairly new to OS X. I have a couple of questions that hopefully someone can answer or point me to where I can get the answers. On my Hackintosh desktop, in my /System/Library/Extensions I have 229 items, mostly filename.kext files. In my /Extra/Extensions I have eight filename.kext files. Is there a way to find out which kexts are being used and for what reason (i.e for what hardware)? For example, I know that I have an ATI 5000 series video card, so I don't think that the computer is using all of the other ATI card kexts. As a learning experience, I would like to get Lion installed on my desktop computer; It currently has Snow Leopard on it. When I try to run the Lion installer USB Pen (myHack and unifail versions) I am able to get to the Disk Utility to format the disk but it is not shown (only the USB pen is shown). The bios of this computer does not have AHCI, though it is a sata hard drive. Sorry its a little long winded but the question is marked in bold above. CP

I just got an e6400 (waiting for it to be delivered) and want to install Lion onto it. Since there is not an E.D.P. and bootpack for the e6400 which is the best way to install and configure Lion? Mariusz posts are fantastic, but for a noob like me I like step by steps. dafob's step by step here is good but I want to use the Lion app that I purchased. So I've created the USB stick and not put anything else in it. Would the correct way be to copy Mariusz's dsdt.aml to /Extra, install Chameleon, install the applicable kexts from Mariusz's 0EDP.kext pack (not exactly sure how -- I have used multifail before and I have used kext wizard but have not install kexts any other way)? What exactly does the E.D.P. do? Regarding the bootpacks, are they basically a dsdt and other kexts that help to boot each specific Latitude model? Can you use the D630 bootpack and E.D.P. with an e6400? Thanks for your help! CP
