  1. Hi chaps

I saw EMlyDinEsH's earlier post which said that the Bluetooth on his card only worked after a 'warm' reboot, but not after a cold startup. I have exactly the same issue with my BCM94352 (both WIFI and Bluetooth are working great otherwise).

I can't see the solution. Could you point me in the right direction.

Thanks. Keep up the great work.

This is what this kext for. Install it and everything solved.
  2. Thanks a bunch for providing this, it's working beautifully for me!

One (possibly silly?) question though; do I need to keep this kext installed after it's succeeded, or can I discard it? i.e - if it's changing firmware, then is just a one-time deal and that's it?

Firmware is needed for every boot and wake/sleep cycle. So this kext must always be loaded.

  3. We cannot modify version and changing version number alone won't solve this handoff feature. What is your Bluetooth device id btw?

    It is:

    Vendor ID:	0x04CA
      Product ID:	0x200B

You are right. I heard people with even USB bluetooth can get Handoff enabled. The problem should be on the wifi side.

  4. Firmware used by the Apple is different and should be custom for their device i think. So, we cannot use that and my kext uses the firmware from windows drivers which is based on latest version available.

OK, but can you modify just the firmware version? So under Mac system profile, it will show the same version as on the real Mac.

By hacking the version number, it may enable the handoff functionality under 10.10 as it now only working for vanilla Mac wifi/bluetooth module.
