I did a new install usb with 10.9.2 and Extra folder provided by Jake and it picked up everything. Only thing remaining is for audio to work right... Thanks!

Tried that extra still the same issue. Also I noticed that when the screen goes black it doesn't come back up after pressing any key or moving the mouse... Specs CPU - i5 -4300u Video Card - Intel HD 4400 It is picking up the cpu as an intel core 2 duo and graphic card unknown...

Hi Jake, I tried using your Extra folder from 7440 and I was able to install. However I noticed the cursor blinks very fast. Also I had to go to keyboard and slow down keystrokes otherwise by pressing the key M i would get mmmmmmm and so forth. Additionally I noticed the video cards is not being recognized. Any ideas?

Since the update my sound and webcam stopped working. I have been able to fix the sound issue with the fix provided here. Any ideas on how to fix the webcam? Thanks

Which EDP did you use? e6230 i7? is your 6230 i5?

Hi, I was able to install MAC OS X 10.8 with myhack and extra package from the e6230 i7 bootable. I downloaded and installed EDP but havent run the configuration yet. I still dont have audio, camera, trackpad working. I am guessing once I apply EDP build these will get fixed. Before I do the EDP build is there anything I can do so if something goes wrong I can go back? Which EDP build should I run? E6230 i7? my 6230 has an i5 processor. Finally, can I just update to 10.8.5 or do i have to do another myhack with 10.8.5 on it? Please advise, Thanks!
