  1. I merged the extras folders and I was able to boot up with a few flags -r pmVersion=0. I then tried to run the EDP but its not working. It says... "Warning: When myFix is finished....Are you sure you want to continue....Invalid response please en" and then its clipped off. It is not word-wrapping and I can't input any data. It looks like it wants a y/n but no keyboard entries work and then every 8 seconds or so the screen blanks out and redraws itself. I'll try from scratch with the "create extra" suggestion. Also, I rebooted and tried EDP again and it seems to have gotten itself past that spot and correctly loaded...let's see what happens when I reboot! success!
  2. I think I see the problem. I tried to recreate the USB installer, but step 10 does not happen. http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp/documentation/pre-installation/ 10. Next, you will be prompted about Extra folder; choose “Use My Own†from the list then browse to your downloaded bootpack (i.e. Extra) folder. It never prompted me to "Use My Own", so I'm not able to add my own extras. This is why I was thinking I needed to replace the extras folder with that of the pack. Perhaps, they folder needs to be merged? Advice?
  3. Yep. I think I see the step I missed.
  4. Thanks. I'll retrace my steps. I copied the Mavericks boot pack over the extra folder that was on the USB stick. Is that correct? I think the Wifi is disabled. I'll take a look at it in the BIOS and recheck everything. I had Lion on here before trying to upgrade to Mav.
  5. I don't see an IntelCPUMonitor.kext in S/L/E?
  6. OK, I checked BIOS and it says Nvidia. It is a Quadro NVS 135M, 128MB, 1440x900. Audio is a Sigmatel 9205.
  7. I read the Dell site by asset tag and it says nvidia. I'll try your suggestion.
  8. Any ideas what steps I should try next for this Kernel panic? Thank you! http://sdrv.ms/1gNcNQI
