Have anyone figured out how to place widgets on a Dell D630 10.7.4 desktop. I found plenty of tut, but still unable to get the widgets on the desktop.

My old D630 Intel Crestline x3100 died on me, but i have a new one for free. Is it possible to change the bios setting on the new D630 install the hard drive, and boot it up?
