  1. Found sleep worked fine after I updated my original install of 10.6 to 10.6.8. Very happy now I have a working machine to give my daughter for school. Thanks guys, much appreciated.
  2. Ok thanks will try different audio pack in EDP. Qtn - do I still need to set the system password from the above post for Sleep to work? I would prefer NOT to have the pw enabled if at all possible Yes already built with my hack 3.1.2 after some reading about 3.3.1 & Snow Leopard
  3. Thanks guys for your clearing this up. I have already done an install of Snow Leopard which has installed fine and boots the OS (only issues atm are sound appears disabled after EDP update & Sleep not working - but haven't set System password yet - from https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2350-bios-settings-d420-core-duo/ Cheers from Sydney

  6. Hi, hope someone can help with my issue. Trying to install OS X 10.7 onto my Dell Latitude D420 using USB made from MyHack 3.3.1, 10.7 Lion dmg and EXTRAS bootpack for my model (Latitude D420 Dual Core for OS X 10.7 http://www.osxlatitude.com/packs/Dell/Dell_Latitude_D4x0-lion.zip ). Basically I build the 10.7 USB installer & added the Extras & Run MyFix. When I boot the USB installer, I have selected various bootflags inc -x -v & -f without success. I always get to the point shown below (see attached) then the screen goes blank (grey background with no text) & the OS X install doesn't start. Starting Darwin x86 Boot Args:... UHCI controller...
