I have a Dell D630 nvidia with the Intel Centrino wifi (model 4965AGN MM1, Dell pn 0MK933), which is not supported. I want to switch it out with a Broadcom DW 1490, which is fully supported. I have a question though. The existing Intel card has 3 wires attaching to it (black, white and gray), while the Broadcom has only 2 attachment points. Is that typical, and if so which of the 3 wires should get connected to the Broadcom card? Thanks.

Hi there. I have a D630 nvidia with 2 networking issues. First, it has the intel centrino wifi, which I've read here is unsupported, so it is not recognized. There are tons of different wifi cards available to replace this. Is there is a specific one that is needed or will any non-intel wifi card work? Second, the wired ethernet will not work after waking from sleep. It requires a restart to bring it back. Is there something I can do? Thanks!
