Hello,
I am still researching on how to get my integrated AMD Radeon 8650G working on my Hackintosh.
I haven't seen much for cards closely related to mine. So, I wanted to ask, does anyone have a fully working graphics card from the Richland (Radeon HD 8xxxD, 8xxxG) in OS X?
Thanks.
Edit: I have decided to make this post dedicated to progress concerning full Radeon HD 8650G (Richland) support in Yosemite.

Quite true! I may test the Null CPU Power Management kernel extension, and see how my system fares.
I will post the result.
Result - The fan runs beautifully.

I will test Yosemite sometime again...
The first time with Yosemite on my G505s didn't go well. From what I remember, the system was practically unusable because of the constant freezing and flickering resulting from almost everything I did. -
Oh my word, I apologize for my, what is it, almost six-month later response... I swayed from OS X for a while, but now I am back.
Concerning the overheating, it is no longer an issue although I have AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext installed. I opened a sealed vent on the bottom of my laptop's case, which is directly below the fan. I think that is what solved the issue. -
I apologize for the extremely late response.
I have flickering problems, especially when opening Dashboard. After installing a new application from the Store, I have even more of them.

I don't have the Null CPU Power Management .kext installed, should I use it?

Hello!
My Lenovo Hackintosh has its fan almost always running, overheating sometimes. I have to manually fan it to keep it from overheating, though that doesn't help much. I turn on the A/C, fan the computer, and it still overheats.
This also happens when trying to install the Mavericks 1.9.1 update. It tells me "3 minutes remaining" under a progress bar and "Software Update". Then the fan accelerates and the computer shuts down immediately
This is not the situation in Linux/Windows/Unix. What can I do to get the fan to run normally/keep this thing from overheating?
Thanks!

I can't wait for support!

Ah, I see.
About my card not being supported, I heard about new drivers for the AMD 8000 and 9000 series in Yosemite, but incomplete.
This means that my integrated graphics will be supported in Yosemite, right?

Hello,
As you may have guessed, my integrated graphics (AMD Radeon HD 8650G) in my A10-5750M Richland Series APU is not working.
Can someone tell me some methods I could try to get it working?
In Chameleon Wizard, I see a list of names like Duckweed under "ATI Config". What are these?
Premade SMBIOS Support

I want to choose a SMBIOS configuration that is the closest possible to my computer hardware.
I found such (MacBookPro11,3), however, I can't find a bootloader that lists it in its premade devices list, much less supports it. I transferred the MacBookPro11,2 configuration that I developed in Clover over to Chameleon. The end result was that Chameleon didn't recognize it (yellow alert icons everywhere), and as soon as I used it in Yosemite, my device was labeled "unrecognized" and I see "DSMOS has arrived" on each boot.
So, which bootloader (or branch of one) has the most complete SMBIOS support?
Thanks!
