  1. The Default, I saw no way to disable this in the BIOS.
  2. I have a E5440 with NVidia GT720M, using a some DSDT from someone elses E5440 and SSDT for I5-4300U and the kexts for the E5440 I was able to get past the waiting for root device, now it gets to IOBluetooth and restarts. I have tried -v -x -f and GraphicsEnabler=NO and RestartFix=Yes with no luck. My best guess is something in my DSDT is wrong because of the NVidia GT720M, so as you mentioned if someone had the NVidia to post their origin folder here by using F4 in clover, so I have attached in in hopes I can actually get to the install and get it all going. I know my wifi card will likely need replacing but before spending the cash on that I wanted to get it working Ethernet. Thank you. 5440_nvidiaGT720M.zip
  3. So after much reading and using the E5440 supplied DSDT here and the I5-4300U SDST also supplied here and copying the kexts from the guys 5540 pack into the Clover Kexts folder and putting the DSDT and SDST into the ACPI/patched folder (per clover instructions). The installer boots from USB (doesn't loose access to root anymore as it was) and now gets to these lines: init probe start DSMOS has arrived [iOBluetoothHCIController][start] -- completed a half second later the laptop reboots Notes: BIOS is set: BIOS Version A07 UEFI, Secure boot off Legacy Roms off SATA AHCI Miscellaneous Devices all off (for install, this is card reader, camera, microphone, express card slot) Speedstep is off Turboboost is off Intel VT on, but Intel VT-d off Graphics: NVidia GT 720M, Intel HD4400 HDD in system is brand new and blank with no partitions Attached is a zip of my Clover EFI partition (figure its easier than attached each file as asked) Any help appreciated E5440 EFI Boot Partition.zip
