  1. nevermind... i was able to boot back into yosemite with your efi folder.... so i just installed the latest version of clover through the app and now el capitan install is loading. THANKS!
  2. thanks Jake.. i copied your efi folder that you provided to my efi but when i boot the computer it still says 3280 .. do you know which clover files i have to replace to update it manually in efi?
  3. noob question.. how do i upgrade clover? to 3292? can i do this without being able to boot to yosemite? i can write to the efi folder via windows.... thanks
  4. Hello... i am running yosemite on e7440 with core i7 ... is there a step by step update thread for upgrading to el capitan?
  5. actually i had to do a repair disk on not the partition but the main disk for it to finally work. i just managed to boot in. Is there some kind of boot image i can load on to a usb that automatically repairs permissions and disks? Having to load up a yosemite install disk to repair disks is kind of tricky for my boss to do. ( His laptop I'm working on ) This is the second time this has prevented booting up to osx. Thank you - David
  6. Thanks Jake.... kernel cache or kext cache?
  7. Has anyone had an issue where everything is working fine with 10.10.1 installed with this guide and all of a sudden trying to boot doesn't work anymore.. the loading apple bar gets stuck near the middle. This happened before and I did a repair on the osx installation dusj with the clover osx base installer usb to boot and this allowed me to boot up again. this happened to me again and now i can't boot. progress bar is stuck in the middle. :/
