I don't even get to the EDP part and I have used the same installation source files on Macbooks without a single problem. I don't know where the problem is.

Latitude D630. Bios version A18, Core 2 Duo 1.8ghz, 4GB DDR2, Nvidia Quadro NVS 135. BIOS settings match the suggested settings that are pinned in this forum. I pulled the wireless cards for the meantime. Any other specs needed?

I can install Snow Leopard just fine on my D630 Nvidia, but not Lion and Mountain Lion. Lion doesn't even make it to the installer. ML does, but it always crashes. I tried installing from SL, but it looks like it's going through everything then reboots back into SL like absolutely nothing happened. I followed several sets of the instructions to install. Create the install disk, add the extra's and then run Myfix and then run install. Am I missing something here or is there a problem with my hardware or what? Installer Log 26-Nov-2012.txt
