THX,,,,, one issue less!! @Hervé: IO80211 is loading from /L/E .. i tested... when deleted, my wifi does not start... i replaced the one in SLE, then it works again... to make sure, i did the not working to SLE and the working to LE.. wifi worked... still strange, my battery update does not work... pls check my new /L/E directory, if still some kexts shouldnt be here or are missing..

okay.. i removed BrcmFirmawareData,and BrcmBluetoothInjector ... moved BrcmFirmwareRepo to S/L/E ... rebuild cache and permissions.... bluetooth is still not here..... battery sign still not updating.. 2) you say IO80211Family kext will not load from L/E, but my wifi started working after putting it in L/E.... ???

hy guys... i have a almost perfect working catalina install on my E7240. I used the clover data from jakelo from this tread 2nd last post. wifi is now working after using the clover data mentioned above, but I am missing bluetooth and my battery sign is not updating... if I click on "show percentage" it shows the updated battery status, but then again not updating till I click again... attached you'll find my complete EFI and a screenshot of the L*/E* thanks EFI.zip

@Hervé : thanks for the hint. I of course used the search button, but could not find answers specific to my questions. I was just wondering about this questions... the guide here I found of course but the clover bootpack was in an early post, so I was not sure, if its up2date... my system is up and working well, so I am not troubling... I just want to learn the basics behind, and was asking that's why, if e.g the set CPU affects the audio and why? hy guys... I got ma latitude 7240 i7 up and working with Mojave except wifi of course and external display/hdmi not tested.... I used clover config and guide from this link and also some kexts.. https://www.hackintosh.com.pl/en/blog/macos-mojave-on-dell-e7240 but I have some basic questions: 1) I changed in clover configurator my device- from macbookpro11,1 to other models, eg. imac14,2 .. still most things were working except audio.WHY? and which is best for my i7-4600U? does this affect also my battery drain? 2) i installed coconut-battery, I get most information, but the battery-temperature is always at -273,2 degrees.. is this possible to get working? 3) when I install the kexts in the guide above (with Hackintool) I get this errors below.. all three kexts were in the guide.. am I doing wrong or are the kexts wrong? i did it and it seems that I have much better fan control now... please have a look if this is correct now.. its german btw... but why is my FAN running faster than with win7? how to control the fans to be slower??

i got both files, and i placed the aml in extra edit: removing old file, booting and runnig the script again ends in the same error... somehow my system can't mount the efi partition.. i also tried to install chameleon again and runfix again but without luck..

i generated my own.. placed in in Extra and also changed org.chameleon.Boot.plist to NOT DropSSDT, but still I get 2,69ghz and only 2cores...?? what am i doing wrong? with your great tutorial I installed 10.9.4 on my e7240 i7 1366x768.. i also bought a dw1510 and rebranded it.. so WLAN is on too... i used the SSDT for i7 with higher resolution .. i installed osx on a sdcard , since the laptop is a company laptop... one thing, which bothers me is that the FAN is running faster most of the time compared to WIN7... ?? and one other thing is that System Information shows i7 with 2,7ghz although SSDT is for 2,1ghz.. and it says that cpu has 2 cores? does the i7 have 2 or 4 cores? thx in advance...
