  1. I Bought the Asus USB-N13, and actually i found out that there where no drivers for Mountain Lion, i then tried install many different suggestions from people, and nothing worked at least i don't think so, i then plugged in the dvd which came with it, and installed the driver that should work on 10.6 and i restarted and i poped up with the message that a new network device was found. And i just use wireless network utility and connected to my network and finally it worked. so soon i will make a complete guide on how to get the essential stuff to work on the E6230. Everybody thanks for your help! i really appreciate it. Best regards Chris
  2. Yes i found out after posting the last post. I was then thinking of buyng a new usb dongle, will the Asus usb-n13 work? i see it on many list that it should work, or just don't know if they are updated. Can you confirm that this one is working?
  3. I have tried that, and found many drivers/fixes etc. but i cannot use any of them, because when ever i run a .pkg file, and when I'm in the last step of install it gives me an error saying something like: Installation failed, an unknown error occurred, please contact your manufacturer for help. What could be the cause and how do i fix this?
  4. Exactly so i thought that means it is supported. and that the EDP software would install a kext for it? Im confused. Anyway i have a USB Dongle with the chip RTL8187B, is this supported by mac osx, if so which kext do i then have to install? Thanks in advance:)
  5. Thanks very much for your answer! It is a Intel card, and every think is enabled:) I just thought that the EDP would install the kext automaticly if there was this green icon on your compitabelity list. And im not sure, but as i can see of the specs list under the dell website my computer contains on of the following: "Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205, Intel Centrino Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250, Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300, Dell Wireless 1504 (802.11g/n 1×1), Dell Wireless 1540 (802.11n 2×2) " Thanks again
  6. Hello, i have just installed ML on my computer, and then got the EDP after some errors the team had. Well, if i then go under configs and choose my model, i show this icon list on whitch parts should be working after installing, and it seems like that when install only the EDP suggestions, only my keybord is working, so i have to first install the PS2 kext. But that is not the point of this thread. When i then look at the Wifi icon it looks green and seems like it should be working after i have installed the EDP, but if then go under the settings where you by yourself can define which kexts you wanna install, the WIFI box have none selected, and none of the kext i can choose from works when i install. So is there someone who can please link to a working kext, or a way to get it working. As a thanks and if it works. I will make a FULL guide of installing ML 10.8 onto the E6230, because not all stuff works through the EDP, and it is a paint to try all these thinks only to get a kernel panic. Best regards Chris Oleander
  7. SO GOOD!! I just love the effort and work you put in this project!! I don't know how to thank you.. i have never thought of donating, but now i think that is what im gonna due!! SO GOOD. thanks Chris PS. I hope you didn't saw my thread as a complain, i just thought there were some bug, and just wanted to say that is was there. SO YES AGAIN...Perfect!
  8. Exactly, it would solve so many problems! But anyway, does any of you have the file edptool.command under your extras? if so could you please attach it to this thread. Thank your Chris
  9. Hello, thanks for your asnwer and yes i did:) And then when i have installed the EDP, it is in my /Applications Then when i try to open/run it, it does nothing. Then i read on the EDP Framwork download page that there was this problem about starting the EDP Framework, and they say i have to run it manual. And running it manual means open edptool.command under extras... but there is no edptool.command under any extra folders i can find on both the computer and the installation usb stick, so if someone can attach that file i think i will solve my problem. Im using ML 10.8 Thanks
  10. Hello, i have finally after some hard work installed mac osx ml on my latitude 6230. And then i reach the state where i wanna install the edp, but as i can read of the website, it seems that there are some problems running it from the application folder, so you have to do it manually. This is the text under the download of the EDP says: "At the moment there are some problems with the start up application. When the EDP application from /Application doesn’t work, please open it manual! Open edptool.command from within /Extra! . Terminal will open and after your password, EDP will be started. Our apologies" Then i go under my extra folder, i both look under my usb installation stick, and also my computer, and there is not edptool.command under the extra folder... what to do? can i type the command my self, or is there somewhere i can download the edptool.command. Thanks Chris
