Thank you Jake Lo and Herve for your help. Jake I have done as you have suggested , however still no WIFI , I have also added into L/E. BroadcomWiFiInjector.kext and FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext Herve there is no BRCM4360 kext in Mojave unless I am missing something? I don't know how to do PCI id injection through DSDT however this sounds like a good option , would either of you be able to guide me on how to do do PCI id injection through DSDT I have MaciASL which I think is the correct app to patch my DSDT. Thanks again. -

Thanks again Jake, Here is the output: 2018-02-21 08:54:59.350414+1100 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) Wake reason: PBTN LID0 XHC (User) 2018-02-21 08:54:59.350655+1100 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) Wake reason: PBTN LID0 XHC (User) So when I allow the laptop to goto sleep after five minutes the screen goes black and then the machine becomes completely unresponsive , the power led is still on however not flashing ...

I ran the command however I am not sure where too look for the output? Also if I select sleep from the apple menu it will goto sleep properly and wake properly, it appears the problem arises when I select say 5 minutes to goto sleep in Energy Saver system preferences.
-
By either hitting a key on the keyboard , clicking the buttons next to the touch pad and pressing the power key. Normally when the laptop is asleep the power led glows off and on , this isn't happening? Thanks for your quick reply

Hi Jake, Thanks for all of your help , unfortunately I have created another problem , I was trying to fix a minor issue and after installing and reinstalling many times I have locked myself out of imessage. Would creating a new system ID and serial number fix the problem? If so would you be able to help me in resolving the issue? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Jake , I followed your instructions to a t and rather than a blank screen on the trackpad preferences I get the following message "no trackpad found" the trackpad does work however it isn't smooth, I find that the release 5 works very smoothly .....

Hi Jake, I was wondering whether you had any idea about the following issue , in Sierra 10.12.5 the Trackpad Preference Pane was viewable and editable , however in Sierra 10.12.6 the Trackpad Preference Pane is blank , my touchpad is still fully functional?
-
Thank you again Jake! Yes by changing the value to 0xffff the brightness issue has resolved so that everytime I startup Sierra it loads in at full brightness so happy! It's the little things like that that I feel can take away from the Hackintosh experience so when it gets resolved it's great. I will share screen shots with you of HighSierra not working soon. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and being so helpful and informative ... Very grateful !

Thank you for your fast reply I really appreciate your help The backlight level in the config file is displayed as " 0x0306 " I'm not sure how to understand that value , how would I go about changing it to increase the value to 100% ? Thanks again

Hi Jake Low , I too have the same hardware the Dell Latitude E6540 with i7 4810MQ , Intel HD 4600 graphics , 16 Gig ram , 500gig hard drive and Radeon 8790M . My Bios is at A21 as that is the latest Bios on the Dell Support Page for the Latitude e6540 , unless I am mistaken. Using your files , just changing the serial number with clover configurator, I have for the first time successfully installed Sierra 10.12.6 so a big thank you. I use the Fake PCIID.Kext and Fake PCIID Intel HD Graphics for smooth graphic operation. My problem is when trying to install High Sierra 10.13.0 or 10.13.3 I can not get past the initial boot phase as the graphics become scrambled and unusable? Do you have any suggestions ? Also one small thing everytime Sierra boots the display brightness slider value is always at around %20 any suggestions. I'd be very grateful for any assistance , thanks.
