  1. If I use 1.4.3 compiled by him, I do not need to add in the boot argument. My computer is able to wake up from sleep without any issue. The only thing missing is HDMI audio output as what he said in his post.

If I use the official 1.4.2, it freeze my computer when wake up from sleep. Adding the boot argument does not help too.

Thus, I am taking his unofficial 1.4.3 (he did attach his compiled version in his post) as my temporary workaround, while waiting for the new release from the AppleAlc maintainer.

  3. Dear Herve,

    I made the following changes:-

    1) renamed ECDV to EC through Clover and remove SSDT-EC.aml

    2) remove AppleBacklightFixUp.kext

    3) replaced VirtualSMC.kext with FakeSMC.kext

    4) USBInjectAll.kext can't detect my USB devices even though I copied in USBPorts.kext generated by HackinTool. USB_injector.kext detects everything nicely, including webcam.

After the above changes, system still freeze as before.

    Attached latest debug file.

    Thanks

  4. Dear all,

I have installed Catalina on Dell E6440 with integrated intel hd4600, it works quite well except the following:-

     - Laptop freezes few second after wake up from sleep

Specs: Dell Latitude E6440, Bios A23
    macOS Version: macOS 10.15 (Catalina)
    Clover EFI version : v5070

Appreciate if anyone can assist or guide me on how to troubleshoot it.

    Thanks
