Meh. One step forward. Two steps back. Installed sound kext and now the system won't boot. Removed the kext and edited the plist. Still won't boot

Boot into safe mode, mount the first partition of the first disk. This is the efi in my case. Didn't fix my issue though

Hi Is it possible to extract the config.plist from efi under safe mode? In my attempt to get my x201 sound working, the device won't boot past sound assertion, so I've removed the .kext and want to edit the plist to remove the inject. So close

Managed to get it installed and also with the correct video kext after trying a few.. Only issue I am having now, is that Clover isn't installing into the boot sector, it claims installation completed, but when I reboot, I get the Niresh boot loader, which fails with 'mach_kernel' not found. I did try Niresh ahead of the virgin method in this guide.. Will nvram -c sort this out and allow me to install clover?

Adding -v to the Clover boot options, got me the OSX Installer... Running through it now...

First off I opened Clover Configurator, mounted the EFI partition. Edited the EFI/Clover/config.plist and added npci=0x200. Saved and updated Removed the DSDT from EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched Opened kext wizard and repaired permissions on /USB/. Booted the device, got the black Apple screen with a white Apple logo with a progress bar. Progress bar hasn't moved sadly.. Rebooting and adding -v to the boot options.

Morning, Can someone be kind enough to help me progress a little further? I've booted from the USB, got to Clover and selected 'Boot OSX from USB' its the only option that makes logical sense instead of 'Install' which doesn't exist. See attachment I don't even get to a see a GUI window, I just get this.. I've followed the guide on page 5 (https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2833-install-osx-on-lenovo-thinkpad-x201s-and-maybe-x201/page-5) but yeah I've obviously missed something or screwed it up.. Lenovo X201, i5 with modded wireless card (dell)
