  1. Same outcome disabling secure boot. The BIOS skips the USB drive and continues with the next boot device. Even on the boot menu loader (F12), selecting the USB drive just refreshes the menu page. No error, it simply ignores the USB Drive.
  2. My laptop should be able to run Sierra but I can't get past my BIOS setup, all important options are missing. Screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/eQGYu BIOS: Aptio 2016 Gigabyte P55v6 The USB has been tested to work in other machines without any issues.
  3. Is there any setup similar to this laptop? I googled and there are no record of a Hackintosh P55v6 or it's older brethren. CPU Skylake Intel Core i7 6700HQ @ 2.60GHz RAM 16.0GB Graphics Intel HD Graphics 530 (Gigabyte) 2048MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (Gigabyte) 15.6 Full HD display (1920*1080) Storage 119GB LITEON CV3-8D128 (SSD) 931GB Hitachi HGST HTS721010A9E630 (SATA) Audio Realtek High Definition Audio Wireless Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260
  4. After some attempts to fix it. I returned the screen, since the quality was inferior to Dell's. I will try to find an exact replacement for it, lucklily I still have the OEM dead screen to track the product ID. Thank you for the help guys!
  5. I just replaced my dead E6430 with a generic screen, however after loading OS Sierra, the image is repeated in 4 tiny windows, completely operational. Changing the screen size won't do anything. Only an external display will show the image correctly. Note: The old screen did not have this issue. Please see the screenshots.
  6. Thank you, and that chip you recommended can be used to replace the Intel one, right?
  7. From this image, what screws should be removed?
  8. Is there a way to inspect the component, and be sure that it's Intel Wireless? If that's the case does El Capitan has support for it? I can ditch Sierra just for the inconvenience.
  9. Yes, the switch is set to ON, and it's also checked on the BIOS settings. Can anyone confirm that Wireless works on Sierra for E6420?
  10. Jake, everything works except the wireless! In the network options "Wi-Fi" is grayed. What I'm missing?
  11. Thank you Jake, is it possible to force UEFI after installing Sierra? Will the boot speed be slower with Legacy?
  12. I followed this guide step by step, this my clover setup and got stuck on the bios menu, the UEFI doesn't show a boot list to choose the USB drive. Screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/OkdN9Ri.jpg The boot sequence is set to UEFI. But F12 won't show any option to boot via USB, so I added these options on the UEFI Boot sequence: \EFI\BOOT\BOOTX64.EFI And \EFI\CLOVER\CLOVERX64.efi Both return a black screen. What am I doing wrong?
