  1. Yea, I did it so fast, didn't realize. I have it attached. codec_dump.txt
  2. I'm not sure what I'm looking for here, so I'll just attach the codec dump. codec_dump.txt
  3. Ok thanks, I'll do all of that in a bit, but I just wanted to add I don't have an SSD, I opted for the 500GB mechanical.
  4. Also, hey, how did you get Yosemite on the XPS13? All I have found is your link for Mavericks. https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/7334-dell-xps-13-l321x-mavericks-1095/&do=findComment&comment=43788
  5. I see here that you were able to get a Dell 1560 wifi card, does that work in OS X natively? https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8113-ngff-m2-dw1560-wireless-card/?p=50779
  6. I was just looking the system over yesterday and it seems to be running a little hot. I noticed that the Processor info is gone from About This Mac. I have an i5-5300U proc, realtek alc3234/3, and Intel USB 3.0 extensible host controller. Should I use the Realtec kexts from HVT? Where can I get support for the CPU and USB 3.0? Is there anything else I'm missing? Do I need drivers for the free-fall sensor, etc?
  7. Also here what I see when I search for Alps in console.
  8. How would that work differently than just an in place upgrade? I can't even get to the installer.
  9. Ahh ok. I'm trying to upgrade the 10.11 but it keeps locking before the install screen
  10. Yea I've seen those things about the lookups. Can I just in place upgrade the El Capitan? I need to install Windows to find out what touchpad I have.
  11. Also I can't change trackpad settings as it doesn't detect a trackpad. Or a keyboard, but both work.
  12. Ok so I did that and it boots with QE/CI but now it's locked up. It also glitches the boot screen before login but still logs in.
  13. I went back to my old config that I attached and I see that the processor and gpu info is back to unknown again so it seems that the files did something.
  14. I replaced config and copied dsdt and ssdt files in patched. The first dsdt turned off the backlight and then had the garbled screen. Second one turned off the backlight and rebooted.
  15. Here's my EFI: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9khsGNO_VHwLVloWWpJb2xRUTA/view?usp=sharing
  16. I'm not sure, I copied the whole thing. I still don't have QE/CI yet.
  17. I think I've got it. I went to Firewolf's link and got the config.plist that Frankie posted here: http://pastebin.com/VE4gZDrKand I am at the installer screen now. EDIT: Install was successful, but it crashed after creating profile. I am booted now with no QI/CE, working on that now...
  18. So I tried that link you gave to set the DVMT value and mine was 0x1 so I set it to 0x3 and verified in Windows that I have 128MB memory. Rebooted, space for verbose mode and same thing, garbled screen.
  19. BIOS set to default. Do I need to hit F4 every time I get to clover? And I want to use clover64.efi?
  20. Same, garbled screen with circle with line thru it. I can barely read "Still waiting for root device" at the bottom.
  21. Oh, I removed it from the origin folder. I used -v and -x, that ok? And that is the one I'm using, from post #19 right? It hangs at the same spot at e5450 where he shows the garbled screen in post #9
