  1. That'll do for me, thanks very much for the advice it's saved me more messing about just to be disappointed. I think i'll install Windows 10 on it and save the messing about. Next time i'll plan better and buy supported hardware.
  2. That had also ran through my mind, it's never going to be used for anything that is resource hungry graphics wise, only web browsing, iTunes and office jobs. Does the lack of acceleration affect the day to day running, like the fade in of Launch Pad or the maximise and minimise of windows etc? I may not bother if that is the case, i'll leave the OS X to my Macbook Pro
  3. I'll have a look later on when I'm home, I know it's an i5 but not actually sure which type. EDIT: after a quick search my i5-560m is an Arrandale core Another thought I had last night... Do you think it would be easier to install Mavericks?
  4. Hmm, hopefully someone will come along that knows what to modify.
  5. I did yes, it was freshly downloaded yesterday. How would I go about patching the power management then?
  6. I'm trying to install Yosemite, really struggling if i'm honest. So for I've tried Clover and Chameleon and have a different issue on every one of them. I think i need to stop looking as so many different sources of information and just look here, all the varying sources are giving me conflicting information. I've tried adding 'GraphicsEnabler=No -x -v' and a few other flags but it has made no difference. Which App Store Bronxteck? On my Mac?
  7. Following this install: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/7376-dell-latitude-e6410-yosemite-nvidiaintel/I keep having a cpu panic on as soon as the installer starts. I'm running an E6410 on A16 BIOS with 4gb ram and the Intel gpu, apologies for the vagueness, i'm a mac owner but installing on a pc is new to me. Any help would be appreciated, this forums seems a wealth of knowledge but i'm finding so many different ways to potentially solve the issue. I've even tried using clover but some how the usb device is not bootable. The one fix i keep seeing over and over is 'GraphicsEnabler=No -x maxmem=4096' but not one post i've seen it on explains where that coding lives?
