  1. Yes it's there. I just double-checked
  2. I see what you mean now. I actually decided to start everything over again so I created a new USB. Now I get "The operation couldn't be completed. Undefined error: 0" during the installation. Both BaseSystem.dmg and BaseSystem.chunklist are on the USB so I'm not too sure what else to check.
  3. Both #20 has instructions for those who wan to upgrade from Maverick. I'm doing a fresh install however.
  4. I added the -v -f flags this time and now it says that it can't find the /System/Library/Kernels/Kernel file.

  7. I see. When I boot with the USB drive, it does not give me the option to select my hard disk. It only gives me the option to install yosemite and nothing else. Thanks for responding so quickly.
  8. At what point do I do this? When my computer restarts after installation, it just says Boot Error. So I'm not too sure what to do.
  9. So I've installed the OS to the hard drive successfully but the next step in your instructions is to install the Chameleon Bootloader to my SSD but there are no instructions on how to accomplish this. Are you able to help in this regard? Thanks
  10. Ok I figured out what I did wrong. With regard to the bootpacks, I quite understand the update process so I didn't have the right files on my USB stick. Once I copied the right files, it finally loaded to the install screen. I'm hoping that everything is easy from this point on . I will keep you guys posted.
  11. Ok so I realized what I did wrong. I got all the files in the right place now. So not it tells me "Backtrace (CPU 2), Frame : Return Address..." so turned off oone of the CPUs and now it says "Backtrace (CPU 0)..." I appreciate your help. It doesn't refer to a specific file this time. So i'm not too sure where to go from here. I'm fiddling with my BIOS settings to see if I can figure it out.
  12. Thank you very much for responding. I downloaded the bootpack 10.10.5 from the E6x20 section but there is no NullCPUPowerManagement.kext to put inside the directory you specified. I will go over the steps to see if I missed something until you get back to me. Thanks again for responding.
  13. Kernel Extensions in backtrace: com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement(218.0)... and it still says "Mac OS version: Not yet set" I'd really appreciate your help
  14. I get "Fault CR2: 0xfffff... Error Code 0x00000000... Fault CPU: 0x0"
  15. OK I added the flags -f -v and not it's doing something different to get past that error and now it's giving me the same issue I describe initially. Please help!
  16. OK so now when I try to install Yosemite I get "EB OS read error: Controller or device error Block 0x22ded8 Sectors 0"
  17. When I type: sudo ./ssdtPRGen.sh -d 0 -p i5-2410M I get: Usage: ./ssdtPRGen.sh TDP MaxTurboFrequency Any ideas on what I should do?
  18. I have no idea what to do when it comes to this DSDT thing. Can you tell me where I need to find the file and how I make the SSDT? Here's the error I got. Debugger called: <panic> Backtrace (CPU, 0) Frame : Return Address ... ... Mac OS version: Not yet set ... ... System uptime in nanoseconds: ...
