  1. I'm sorry, it takes me some time to thoroughly understand how to identify and fix an issue. I did use the El Capitan bootpack and I've checked the "config.plist", but couldn't find the values mentioned above. Do you mind guiding me to the correct bootpack?

The system did boot before an automatic App Store update took place.

  2. My CPU usage is extremely high while connected to AC power, the CPU usage then lowers when I unplug the power adapter from the laptop.

Persistent logs while the AC power adapter is connected:

8/15/16 8:37:34.001 PM com.apple.CDScheduler[43]: *** LOG MESSAGE QUOTA EXCEEDED - SOME MESSAGES FROM THIS PROCESS HAVE BEEN DISCARDED ***

8/15/16 8:37:38.000 PM kernel[0]: ACPIBatteryManager: WARNING! fCurrentCapacity > fMaxCapacity. adjusted fCurrentCapacity from 3060, to 2329
    8/15/16 8:37:38.559 PM powerd[52]: Failed to read current rating(0xe00002f0)
  3. My E7440 (running El Capitan 10.11.4) is stuck in a boot loop. The screen gradually shuts off once the Apple logo appears then the computer restarts. The computer also restarts midway while using the verbose argument.

Uncommon tasks before the problem occurred:

    Updated Digital Camera RAW

  4. Netflix works well on my Apple Macbook without installing any additional plugins and search results regarding the issue are very unhelpful. Did this issue come about a mistake I made throughout the install process or could it be that my device lacks certain component support (e.g. drivers, software, etc.)?

These issues occur while using Safari on El Capitan. The error code I receive while attempting to play Netflix content is S7381-1204. Also, I never receive a prompt when a website attempts to access my microphone or camera making it impossible to use the requested device(s).

  5. I chose the model that's most appropriate in SMBIOS and disabled hibernation. Upon reboot my battery status went missing and now I can't enable the option "Show battery in menu bar".

Do changes in SMBIOS affect which kexts load and which don't? If so, should I reinstall and leave the default assigned model included in the boot pack or is there another way to resolve this issue?

The model I chose under SMBIOS was: MacbookPro (11,2) - Core i7 (Haswell)

    Latitude E7440

    OS X El Capitan
