  1. Unfortunately, when you use OS X Disk Utility to format partitions as FAT, it will convert the disk from valid GPT to hybrid MBR.  You will need to clear the hybrid MBR data before Windows will install.  See this post.

In the future, a better approach is to allow Disk Utility to format both partitions as OS X journaled.  Then use the Windows installer to delete the 2nd OS X partition and install windows in the empty space.

Thank you, I can now dualboot due to your described method.

So it was not needed to create the FAT partition, right? I will keep that in mind for the next time I will install.

I noticed windows boots quite slow. But thats probably normal due to clover switching os's or something...

  2. Ok, i did what you said. now when im installing i get the error "Windows cant be installed on this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI Systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks"

  3. I am trying to dual boot on a single hard drive. I can not format the partition to NTFS in the windows installer. When I was installing Yosemite, i have made two partitions, both mac os extended journaled. Can you help?

  4. SandyBridge + IvyBridge CPUs require the AICPUPM patch. With Clover, that means activating the on-the-fly AsusAICPUPM patch whilst with Chameleon/Enoch, it means replacing the vanilla AICPUM kext by the patched version available here.

NB: Previous versions of OS X are available through one's AppStore account as long as the installation app was downloaded before from AppStore/AppleWeb site once signed in.

    Thanks, booted succesfully.

    Replace Config with this

Thank you. What did you adjust? Only AsusAICPUPM?

  5. Ok thank you.

I noticed most tutorials are using either mavericks, ML, or yosemite. You seem to be using ML aswel. Is that what most people here prefer?

The guides are quite easy to follow. But I am unsure how to get these older versions of OS X. Where can I get them?

I only want to run logic pro x on my laptop.

  6. Hello, is there a guide on how to install El Capitan for my laptop , or perhaps an EDP I can use?
