@KFP: the mobile-boradband.zip was the solution to my problem, i tried for days to get this un2430 working and it wouldn't establish a connection. i replaced the "Base Script.ccl" with the one from your ZIP and now it works 100%. THANK YOU!!! i am on 10.11.4 on a HP 8470p.
